    Somerset 157-6 v Gloucs 343

The price is very much right for Gloucestershire as Ollie takes the catch at second slip to give Tom his fourth wicket.

Lewis Gregory faces just three balls and is on his way with a duck against his name. Not quite as satisfying as captaining Trent Rockets to the Hundred title on Saturday.

    Glamorgan 76-1 v Worcs 454-9 dec

Tom Price picks up his third wicket of the innings with a fine delivery which leaves the Somerset and Pakistan opener off the pitch.

    Somerset 156-4 v Gloucestershire 343

Imam ul-Haq pushes forward defensively to the first ball of a new Tom Price over and an outside edge brings him four to third man.

It was never a chance, he played it with soft hands and it ran past the slips along the floor.

The Pakistan opener is now 89 not out in his first Championship innings for Somerset.

Four overs for the Pakistani with no joy but now he’s changed ends after six overs’ rest.

Keith Barker has reeled off seven straight but so far no way past Emilio Gay and Will Young who have got their side past a first small checkpoint.

  8. Postpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 6 September 2022

    Somerset 148-4 v Gloucs 343

Back in business at Taunton, where Tom Price has five balls to bowl to complete an over. Make that six, after he sends down a no-ball to James Rew. There is, though, no other addition.

  9. wicket

WICKET Fraine b Williams 3published at 16:37 British Summer Time 6 September 2022

    Lancs 276 v Yorks 108-4

We have now lost count of the number of batters bowled after deciding not to play a shot in the current round of matches.

Will Fraine didn't lift his bat out of the way, he just let the ball go and it clipped off stump.

Lancashire are very happy with that and it brings Yorkshire skipper Jonny Tattersall to the crease.
