    England batted for a mere 58.2 overs on day one before Ben Stokes had seen enough and declared.

    It was the second-earliest declaration in the first innings of a Test match but a pair of high-class 80s - 84 and 89 to be precise - from Ben Duckett and Harry Brook, the tourists had still put up 325-9.
