It's absolutely cracking flags in Adelaide. A lovely day. Quite jealous to be honest, I heard rain against the window when my alarm went off at 02:40 GMT.

A lovely shot. Once it's past the infield, there's no stopping that.
He's not looked perfectly comfortable but the boundaries he's hit have been beautifully timed.
Huge shout for lbw against Dawid Malan, but umpire Paul Reiffel shakes his head. Pat Cummins deliberates with Alex Carey about a review, but they decide against.
A wise choice too, with the ball tracking showing it was just pitching outside leg stump.
Malan ends the powerplay with a stunning drive through cover. That made the most glorious noise.
We've just seen Jos Buttler in the England changing room. He's got his hands on the back of his head and I'm pretty sure his eyes were closed.
Dreaming of Sunday night? Can't blame him. It feels a long time ago right now.
Sam Billings picks up his first boundary with a glorious straight drive.

What a stunning piece of work from Ashton Agar. He's saved a certain boundary and it might have been close had the throw hit.
Six successive dot balls to end the over after that poor first ball.
Dawid Malan is a little bit unlucky to not pick up another boundary, as he works off his hip, but Ashton Agar does superbly at square leg, diving at full length to stop it.

Not a good start from Cameron Green, just floating a half-volley up there for Dawid Malan. Nice timing.
A change for Australia as Cameron Green comes into the attack.
He starts with a no-ball, which Dawid Malan also times to the cover boundary.
The free hit is a dot ball though, with Green delivering a good bouncer.
Sam Billings is the new batter.
He's another who has given up his IPL contract for March because he wants to focus on red-ball cricket with Kent.
At 31, you feel that Billings is starting to realise it's now or never with England.

Lovely bowling, hitting a good hard length to challenge the top of off stump. Vince had to play at it.
Cummins has been impressive so far.

That is a good delivery, just a touch fuller from Pat Cummins.
Vince was just prodding uncertainly and England are wobbling.
Vince c Carey b Cummins 5 (Eng 31-3)
Pat Cummins is very good.
His length has just been perfect so far. This one holds its line and draws James Vince into a tentative defence and a feather is caught by Alex Carey.
England are in trouble.

That's a lovely bit of timing from Dawid Malan, straight out of the middle.
It was aerial for a bit, but safe.
A better over for England, with Dawid Malan able to find the mid-wicket boundary with a little flick off his legs.
This game starts England's build-up to their 50-over World Cup defence in India next October by the way. They only have these three games, three against South Africa in late January and five and three against New Zealand and Ireland respectively before then.

Luke Wood really deserves this opportunity. He has played a lot of T20 cricket and they have obviously seen some potential in him.
Liam Dawson has been sat on the sidelines for a long time but it's a huge opportunity. He always performs for England. There are big shoes to fill of Adil Rashid but it's a great chance for him to put his hand up.
England are just going to have to dig in for a little while and look to rebuild.
Australia only have four frontline bowlers in this side, so I suspect England may target Cameron Green and Marcus Stoinis when they come on.
James Vince gets off the mark with a push into the covers for a couple.
Australia are one wicket away from Sam Billings, who does feel a little high at five to be honest.

It's just that length, every time they bowl just back of a length it's a real handful. It's not done much, just a hint of shape, but it's just a well-targeted delivery.
Jason Roy is nowhere near it.
Henry Moeran

How many times have we seen that from Mitch Starc? Very full, nipped in, stumps absolutely everywhere.
Roy b Starc 6 (Eng 20-2)
Jason Roy's recent woes continue.
I was just thinking that Roy looked in decent nick as he pushed a drive into the covers for a couple, but he's bowled next ball.
There's nip from Mitchell Starc and it goes in between bat and pad and crashes into middle stump.
It's a good ball, but Roy is a stuck on the crease a little. There's no foot movement whatsoever.
