Woweee, what a knock this is.
Hasan Ali belts Shane Snater for an enormous six over midwicket to bring up his 50 from just 33 balls.
Duckett lbw b Taylor 39 (Northants 158 v Notts 58-1)
Goodness did Northants need a breakthrough.
And they've gotten rid of Ben Duckett without too much damage.
Tom Taylor round the wicket goes full and straight and Duckett gets in a tangle and is plumb in front.
Warwickshire 222-9 v Essex 126
Oliver Hannon-Dalby - all-rounder?
He's just pulled Doug Bracewell for consecutive sixes over square leg.
He stands there nonchalantly, like it's all in a day's work, and those two lusty blows bring up the 50 partnership between he and Hasan Ali
Durham 227 v Yorkshire 254 & 6-1
Martin Emmerson
BBC Radio Newcastle
It's been a game to forget for Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth. He got a 10-ball duck yesterday and a first-baller today. This time he edged Ben Raine to the slips. I think the ball bounced out of Alex Lees' hands at third slip, before second slip David Bedingham snatched it at the second attempt.
A great start for Durham who got to within 27 runs of Yorkshire's first innings total of 254. That was thanks to a stand of 54 from debutants Bas De Leede and Ajaz Patel.
That was a record 10th wicket partnership for Durham against Yorkshire, breaking the 47 put on in Scarborough in 2004 by Gordon Muchall and Graham Onions.
There were 44 overs left when Yorkshire began their second innings. It remains gloomy and cold. A great day for bowling.
Leics v Sussex 208-4 - tea, day two
Adrian Harms
BBC Sussex
On eight occasions Cheteshwar Pujara has scored 50 for Sussex, and on eight occasions he’s gone on to score a century.
As he moved majestically onto 77 a ninth century looked inevitable, but enter Tom Scriven to have Pujara caught behind.
That ended a partnership of 136 with Tom Alsop who remains unbeaten on 64 at tea
Then in the following over Scriven had a huge shout for lbw against Steve Smith turned down, but it was close, very close!
However Smith’s luck didn’t hold as he was pinned lbw shortly afterwards by Wiaan Muldr.
Leicestershire have bowled consistently well with the exception of three overs of spin, and this game is evenly poised with a new ball available in 15 overs.
Lancs v Somerset 302-8
Craig Overton goes to tea 31 not out with Matt Henry on 4.
A tight affair so far in the Manchester gloom but Somerset have got right in the game with this hard-working first innings.
39 overs scheduled after a slice of Vicky sponge.
Smith lbw b Mulder 3 (Leics v Sussex 198-4)
Steve Smith goes cheaply!
The Australia batter plays around a straight one from Wiaan Mulder and up goes the finger.
He's on his way lbw for three.
Surrey 160-3 v Middlesex 209
It's been a good day so far for Surrey.
Captain Rory Burns led their progress with an attractive 88 and Jamie Smith has also looked in very good order. He takes tea 39 not out.
But with the floodlights on and still a bit of movement available, Middlesex will retain hope that they can stay in the game.
41 overs scheduled after tea if the light stays good enough.
Lancs v Somerset 302-8
In the final over of bonus point period, Somerset reach their second batting point.
Goes to show that it's been tough going but Somerset have ground themselves out a score.
Northants 158 v Notts 31-0
If it wasn't enough for Northants for one old boy to do the damage today, another is now getting stuck in.
Brett Hutton took 37 earlier and now Ben Duckett, who came through the Northants academy, has gone flying out of the gates with five boundaries off Gareth Berg.
Three clips through the leg side for four, an edge wide of second slip and a very pretty straight drive.
Warwickshire 193-9 v Essex
The umpires come together having taken a light reading, and take the players from the field for an early tea.
Hasan Ali and Oliver Hannon-Dalby are still unbeaten, and have added 21 precious runs for the 10th wicket so far.
They will want a few more when they get back out there.
Davey c Williams b Hartley 9 (Lancs v Somerset 285-8)
Josh Davey's promising knock comes to an end.
He looks to hit Tom Hartley down the ground, and connects fairly well, but doesn't get the required elevation and picks out Will Williams at mid-off.
Leicestershire v Sussex 194-3
That is the first time Cheteshwar Pujara has been out between 50 and 100 for Sussex, having converted all eight, yes eight, of his previous half-centuries into tons.
He's a bit good, but most importantly for Leicestershire, he's back in the hutch.
Division Two latest
Sussex captain Cheteshwar Pujara has just edged Leicestershire seamer Tom Scriven behind for 77 and it brings Australia's Steve Smith to the crease.
Smith, who made 30 on his debut for the county last week against Worcestershire, comes in with Sussex 189-3.
Worcestershire are making a fight of it at Glamorgan - Adam Hose and Azhar Ali's fifty stand has taken them to 98-3 in their second innings, but they still trail by 51.
Derbyshire are in a spot of bother against Gloucestershire. They're 72-3 with Wayne Madsen out cheaply.
Burns c Simpson b Higgins 88 (Surrey 137-3 v Middlesex 209)
Immediate redemption for Ryan Higgins!
Rory Burns is down the wicket and Higgins slides on across him.
Burns follows it and nicks low to John Simpson's left.
The wicketkeeper takes a good catch diving down to his left.
Very gloomy at The Oval with the floodlights on.
Surrey 136-2 v Middlesex 209
It's a very tough one but Ryan Higgins has put Jamie Smith down in the gully.
Smith goes to crack Toby Roland-Jones off the back foot but edges very quickly to the left boot of Higgins.
It's just carried but Higgins can't hold on.
Surrey 134-2 v Middlesex 209
Ooo yes here goes Jamie Smith again.
He's got 24 all in boundaries. And pretty sexy boundaries too.
The latest of them another gorgeous flowing cover drive off Ryan Higgins.
Looking in great touch, as is Rory Burns, who is now 88.
Patel b Fisher 34 (Durham 227 v Yorks 254)
Finally Yorkshire have ended things but a 10th wicket stand of 54 has pretty much made this a one-innings game from here.
Nice and simple from Matt Fisher, who hits the top of off stump with Ajaz Patel poking at it and missing.
But what a little hand he's played, making 34 from 30 balls.
Bas de Leede with a debut 22 not out at the other end.
Game on at Chester-le-Street as they take tea.
Rew c sub (Jones) b Mitchell 105 (Lancs v Somerset 268-7)
James Rew goes!
He's played magnificently, but guides Daryl Mitchell to Rob Jones in the slips, and is clapped off the field by the healthy home crowd.
Scotland's Josh Davey joins Craig Overton in the middle.
Warwickshire 180-9 v Essex 126
Hasan Ali mows two enormous sixes in the Edgbaston stands off Sam Cook's bowling.
He's going to attack here, is the Pakistan international.
