More gamesmanship from England and the Yorkshire members?

This is a huge passage of play. If… if England can get through this unscathed then it should be a comfortable chase tomorrow. Come on boys!

Mitchell Starc gets one to spit up at the shoulder of Ben Duckett's bat and it flies over the slip cordon. The ball races away for four, and the England opener breathes a sigh of relief.
England catching all the breaks.

These two openers have played forcefully and aggressively. They realise the situation they in, they are going about it nicely.
Zak Crawley set the tone a little earlier but it's been Ben Duckett who has looked the most fluent thus far.

I love the way Duckett is approaching this, he just looks confident.

Gorgeous, gorgeous. Short and wide. That's one of his shots. This time, it's just a little bit fuller. Duckett leans into it and gets it into the middle of the bat.
Back-to-back boundaries from Ben Duckett
A lovely thwack off his bat as he cuts Pat Cummins for four through the covers and then a ball later drives the Aussie skipper down the ground for another.
A confident start by England.

Poor old Todd Murphy is copping it from the Western Terrace again, which is as lively as it’s been all day.
He is laughing about it though.
Ben Duckett shuffles down the pitch to Pat Cummins and his bottom hand is struck.
The England physio comes on to give Duckett some attention.
England eke a little bit of time out of the game which they won't mind a jot.

It's not carried, very nearly. That did just get up a bit. Duckett played that quite nicely.
The final ball of the over from Mitchell Starc and Ben Duckett plays at it, with slightly softer hands, and edges it to the slip. It doesn't quite carry to Steve Smith.
England scamper a single.
Miles away from the bat, prompting the inevitable 'Same old Aussies' ditty from the Western Terrace.
Mitchell Starc slants one down the leg side which Ben Duckett flicks it at.
Alex Carey throws the ball in the air and Australia appeal for a strangle but it doesn't look like he's hit this.
Mitchell Starc, equally, is a fraction too straight to Ben Duckett and the England left-hander is able to nudge it off his legs for another single.

Please, I beg of you, no more wickets today.

That's a bit too straight from Pat Cummins. Beautifully played by Crawley, it went over there like a rocket.
Too straight again from Pat Cummins and he is punished by Zak Crawley with a powerful wristy thump through mid-wicket for four.
Positive but measured from England thus far.
