That was a proper sliding tackle!

That's a lovely bit of soccer. Moeen Ali crosses it in from the right wing into the box, all it needed was someone to head it in.
Mark Wood bangs it in short to Todd Murphy who gets some bat on it.
Down on the boundary, it's part village cricket, part footballing brilliance from Moeen Ali. The England all-rounder slides feet first running round from fine leg and flicks it back with his boot.

What a shot that is. I'm not too sure that ball was in the plans. A nice juicy half volley and Mark Wood gets a warning for running down the pitch. The outfield is absolutely rapid, England know that it will go if they hit it.
Todd Murphy is the new batter and is off the mark by biffing a yorker-length delivery out of the blockhole and it goes to the boundary for four.

We saw Pat Cummins jumping all over the place on the previous delivery, he was so uncomfortable against Wood's pace like most players are. England need to go bang, bang so they aren't chasing 230-240.

Headingley is buzzing now. I think that cheer for the Pat Cummins wicket was the loudest of the lot.
Cummins c Bairstow b Wood 1 (Aus 170-8)
On your bike, Pat.
UltraEdge shows a clear spike. Cummins was jumping up on the back foot playing well away from his body and he's clearly nicked it.
The crowd give him an earful as he walks off.

Cummins is reviewing it, maybe just hoping technology will save him somehow.
England think they have the wicket of Pat Cummins here after he feathers Mark Wood into the gloves of Jonny Bairstow.
His bat is well away from his body. Not sure what else that could possibly hit...

Woakes gets a brilliant bit of bounce there. I think Cummins' best option is to just and smash it, do what Mark Wood did.
Pat Cummins drives Chris Woakes square, albeit not entirely convincingly, to get off the mark.
England will not mind him keeping the strike.
As if one Ashes contest wasn't enough for a Saturday night - there's action in the Women's Ashes too.
The third T20 between England and Australia at Lord's is set to begin at 18:35 BST.
England trail 6-2 in the multi-format series, meaning a victory for Australia will see them retain the Ashes.
Heather Knight's side have the momentum after winning the second T20, though.

It's great drama, the crowd have had a long day, it's been hard for them. All of a sudden, England get three quick wickets. They are very lucky to get these conditions. If England are batting in the morning, it might be a lot easier than it is now.
If I was in Australia's shoes here I'd be trying to get some quick runs. There's not a lot be gained by just surviving and picking up ones and twos.
Pat Cummins is beaten by a jaffa from Chris Woakes' fourth ball as he presents a quite beautiful seam position to the Aussie skipper. There's movement through the air and off the pitch.
Cummins is on a pair.

Can Australia get this up over 200 and try and put a challenging score on the table? Mark Wood blew Pat Cummins away in the first innings.
Pat Cummins keeps his bat and gloves away from a couple of bouncers from Mark Wood.
England will fancy another couple of wickets tonight. Nine down would do us nicely...

The most important thing for England is that the catch was taken.
Glenn McGrath

Another big wicket. I'm not sure if it bounced a little bit more or it was a bit slower. For me, that was Bairstow's catch. The confidence of Bairstow at the minute, he probably wanted to let Harry Brook take that.
