Christian Evans: Come on England, chasing 251 to win. I have the faith!!
Cheers from the Western Terrace as Zak Crawley flicks Pat Cummins' first delivery of his legs for a single.
Pat Cummins is tossing the ball in the air menacingly at the top of his mark.
Zak Crawley is on strike.
Ben Duckett, who took a fine steepling catch to help get rid of Travis Head, is now walking out to the middle with Zak Crawley.
Pat Cummins has just given a quick pep talk to his charges. The umpires are purposefully striding out to the middle.

Whatever chase England are set I think Bazballing their way to anything will be dangerous. They might just have to play with a bit of sense, even if they are only chasing 200.

The Aussie pace bowlers are already out warming up. This could be quite a tricky session for the England openers.

What a session of play that is, it just keeps getting better and better.
England need 251 to win. They have eight overs, give or take, to survive tonight.
If, indeed, survival is on their minds...
They were extremely valuable runs from Travis Head for the Australia.

I was just about to say, it's interesting to see how much Stuart Broad was moving it. It's like trying to hit an off-spinner into the legside. Ben Duckett had a lot of time there to think about that catch. It's a very difficult catch. Duckett made sure mid-on didn't get in his way. A good catch.
Head c Duckeet b Broad 77 (Aus 224 all out)
Stuart Broad holds his length back off a touch and, perhaps expecting another short ball, Travis Head swings through the ball early and skies it.
The ball comes down with snow on it, but Ben Duckett is ice-cool and confidently pouches the catch just in from the boundary at deep mid-wicket.

Jack: Appalling bowling and tactics from England to Travis Head. Utterly baffling.

“Come on Stokes, change it!”
The crowd are nervous again.
As per CricViz's captaincy grid, which rates each batters' suitability to each bowler, England's best option to bowl at Travis Head is Moeen Ali. Time to give him a go, perhaps?
Another tete-a-tete ahead of the final ball of Mark Wood's over as he and Ben Stokes attempt to contrive a plan to starve Travis Head of the strike.
But the Aussie left-hander is able to back away and poke it into the off side and set off for the single.
Menawhile, here's the ball from Stuart Broad which accounted for Todd Murphy a few moments ago.

That one was a top edge and it's flown 10 rows back.
Travis Head must own some Cuban heels. He repeats the trick, albeit this time more off the edge of the bat than the middle. The result is the same - six more runs for Australia.
