Alex Capel: Yeah… England aren’t making the semis.
John Dunthorne: Hope Buttler, Brook and Livingstone are watching this, and setting their sights higher.
Australia's Glenn Maxwell: "It feels pretty good. I have been pretty cooked today so I wasn't expecting much but it probably cleared my head a little bit to be able to go out there and play. The situation when Warner and Greeny both got out and it probably made me play the situation a little differently. Patty [Pat Cummins] was brilliant out there for me.
"I was just trying to get a read on the bowler because I felt like I had enough time to change and adapt. Generally I am just trying to get any reverse sweeps over the infield.
"I thought the Netherlands were outstanding. it felt like they saved some certain boundaries in the first 25-30 overs. It is a rock hard outfield.
"The ball can travel around here so if you get early wickets and get early wickets and get into the middle order and put run-rate pressure on them."
Absolutely remarkable hitting from Glenn Maxwell.
He reached his hundred from 40 balls with nine fours and eight sixes.
Staggering.

Dennis Ethan: Glenn Maxwell goes for 106 from 44 balls. Ridiculous innings from him.
James A Lyons: Being English, it is difficult to support anything Australian in the cricket, but what Glenn Maxwell has just done is ridiculously good, and addictive to watch.
Alex Capel: BRUTAL hitting by The Big Show!

Beat that, South Africa.
No hat-trick for Logan van Beek as Adam Zampa digs out the yorker for a single.
A wide then extends the over before Pat Cummins clatters the last delivery away for four.
Australia come up just short of 400 but Glenn Maxwell's stunning century - the fastest in World Cup history - and another ton from David Warner have put the five-time champions in an extremely strong position.
Starc c Ackermann b van Beek 0 (Aus 393-8)
Two in two for Logan van Beek as Mitchell Starc's leg-side hoick is caught at mid-wicket.
Colin Ackermann got underneath and pouched the catch.
Can we add a hat-trick to the madness we've seen in the last few overs?

The last over has been a bit anti-climatic at the moment.
Maxwell c Engelbrecht b van Beek 106 (Aus 393-7)
Glenn Maxwell's record-breaking innings comes to an end. But wow, what a knock that was!
He only faced 44 balls!
He falls going for another six, the ball goes a long, long way up but not quite far enough.
Very good catch from Sybrand Engelbrecht at long on.
Glenn Maxwell can do no wrong at the moment.
He looks like he has when he completely mistimes a reverse sweep but the ball comes off the back of the bat and runs away for four...
It was a waist-high full toss from Bas de Leede that Glenn Maxwell swatted away over deep backward square for six.
It gives Maxwell a free hit but he can only take a single before Pat Cummins gets in a tangle.
Dot ball to finish but De Leede's 2-115 from 10 overs are the most expensive figures in ODI history.

This has been outrageous.

It is not just the fastest but it is by nine balls. It has been a masterclass.
That has come out of nowhere.
Aus 388-6
Three sixes in a row to bring up the fastest World Cup hundred of all time!
It's the fourth fastest ever in ODIs, the fastest by an Australian.
Glenn Maxwell, take a bow!

This is an absolute clinic.
Six more! Glenn Maxwell is on 95...
Four, four, six!
Glenn Maxwell is on fire! Two fours bludgeoned down the ground before he launches the next over deep mid-wicket. Stunning.
That's one century up. Bas de Leede has gone for 101 from 9.3 overs...
A single from the last ball. Glenn Maxwell stays on strike.
We've got 12 balls left in the innings and Maxwell has a record-breaking century in his sights.

Glenn Maxwell gets into some weird positions but when he's hitting the ball itself he's very still.
