Now I don't know if Roy Hodgson is a Mozza fan - but I don't think there will much Panic on the streets of Miami as the England coach makes his way back to the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

Hodgson seems pretty pleased with his experimental side's audition in the humidity of Miami. Now it is the turn of his lead names - Steven Gerrard, Joe Hart, et al - to impress their boss when they return to face Honduras on Saturday.

We will return then to talk you through the action, but in the meantime keep a close eye on our World Cup page for all the latest from the England camp. And on Thursday, make sure you and your mates take part in our latest pre-tournament piece of fun - the all-time World Cup XI selector. See ya!

England's players have been walking the same hotel corridors in Miami as a bona fida musical icon - not that many of these young whippersnappers have recognised him.

Miserable lyrics, Johnny Marr on his left arm, forthright views on meat-eaters - it is, of course, Steven Patrick Morrissey. Or simply Morrissey, as The Smiths vocalist is better known across the world.

But, according to Guardian journalist Daniel Taylor, only the eyes of left-back Leighton Baines - a man who looks like a fifth member of the Arctic Monkeys - widened when he battled the bequiffed Mancunian for the last piece of melon at the breakfast buffet.

You wait for years to play in the greatest show on Earth, then boredom kicks in. At least if you're Wayne Rooney or John Terry. BBC Sport's Ben Dirs questions whether footballers can really get bored at the World Cup.

Shaun Dockree:, external Media will slam England team if we don't do well at World Cup, Young players then scarred for future tournaments.

Earlier, we spotted recently-sacked Manchester United manager David Moyes in the Miami stands. Our BBC Sport colleagues at the Sun Life Stadium managed to have a quick word with the Scot, who says he is feeling "good".

"I'm obviously getting ready for my next challenge and looking forward to that meanwhile I'm enjoying time with my family," he adds.

England boss Roy Hodgson: "Raheem Sterling's sending-off was harsh. I am a bit disappointed a senior player like Antonio Valencia reacted in that way. It is a pity because I was looking forward to seeing him play on Saturday but it looks like that won't be possible [because of his one-match suspension].

"I thought they acquitted themselves brilliantly and played some good football at times.

"I was pleased with the way Wayne Rooney played. I was happy he scored his goal and how he interpreted the position. I thought it was a well merited and a prestigious draw against a good Ecuador team."

"The players that started against Peru is pretty much the starting XI for England's World Cup opener. The last thing that Roy Hodgson wanted was to play them all and get them tired ahead of the final warm-up game. This was an opportunity to play those on the fringes.

"The next game against Honduras will be absolutely crucial. That game on Saturday I am sure will be the starting XI. I can see where he was going with what he did."

Louis Williams:, external At least we didn't draw to a team ranked 120th! Ecuador drew with the Netherlands away recently, decent team.

Lee Gibson:, external Good work out for England. Most of that team won't start, but great to give game time. Need to learn to shut out a game though.

Ieuan G Care:, external Attacking flair and athleticism. Barkley could be the difference between one point and three in a group match game.

  15. Belgium blunderpublished at 22:18 British Summer Time 4 June 2014

Making your international debut is a moment to treasure, especially for a teenager. But Manchester United attacker Adnan Januzaj has seen his long-awaited Belgium bow wiped from history.

Januzaj's debut has been ruled invalid - and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has lost his hat-trick - after Fifa downgraded last month's 5-1 friendly victory over Luxembourg.

Why? Because Belgium boss Marc Wilmots made seven substitutions during the match on 26 May, but Fifa rules only allow six. Awkward.
