The game has gone scrappy. There is no real pattern. It is very much stop start with needless fouls going in.
Another foul, another yellow card to Honduras. This time Victor Bernardez goes into the referee's notebook after bringing down Ross Barkley. Play resumes but is stopped again for, you've guessed it, another Honduras lunge. This time Brayan Beckeles is shown the yellow card for a painful challenge on Danny Welbeck. This is getting ridiculous.
Ross Barkley has only been on the pitch a matter of seconds when a neat one-two with Jack Wilshere allows the Everton man to curl a 22-yard shot narrowly wide of the target. Great start by the youngster.
The second half starts with Roy Hodgson making two changes. Ross Barkley has indeed come on along with Jack Wilshere, Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard coming off. Roy is clearly taking no chances after some crunching challenges.
Good news, folks. David Beckham's hair is fine after the earlier storm. The former England captain is watching the match from inside an executive box a the Sun Life Stadium.
OptaJoe on Twitter:, external Jordan Henderson made more passes than any other player in the first half of England's game v Honduras.
Andy Tudhope, external: Was at a Bayern Munich v Nuremburg match and it was delayed because the groundsmen took away the goalposts.
Michael Rabone, external: Oddest stoppage during a football match? A lengthy delay due to a pig running onto the pitch at St Day in Cornwall.
A big cheer from England's travelling fans as Ross Barkley warms up on the pitch at half-time after placing a red shirt on the England bench. Is Roy about to make changes?
Former England defender Rio Ferdinand on Twitter:, external Honduras look like they really want this game to end with guys on stretchers.

The break affected England mentally and now they have to get themselves in and deal with it. The Honduran players got into a huddle at the end of the half. They were a well-beaten second in possession and came out after the break by putting in some challenges.

Well that was a mess. A first half stopped for 40 minutes by lightning and then Honduras trying out the rough stuff when the players came back out. England manager Roy Hodgson will be reaching the stage where he just wants this game over without any injuries.
And there goes the half-time whistle. England's players look relieved to get off the pitch in one piece. It's been stormy - and not just the weather - and it's been prickly. England will do well to get out of here unscathed.
It is almost an hour and half since we kicked off and still we have yet to reach half-time. But this game is at least coming to life. Wilson Palacios forces a corner which Joe Hart fails to deal with and is rescued by Phil Jagielka's headed clearances. A worrying moment in the England defence. Moments earlier, Adam Lallana had gone close with a deflected effort but still we await the breakthrough.

England need to stay composed and ignore the rest of the half. They need to get into the dressing room and re-compose.
Jordan Henderson goes down inside the Honduras penalty area following a Maynor Figueroa challenge. No penalty. The challenges are flying in and Roy Hodgson does not look happy.
There is still another nine minutes to half-time but both teams are testing the patience of the referee. Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana combine to bring down Wigan's Roger Espinoza, Marvin Chavez drilling the free-kick narrowly over the bar from 25 yards.

Emilio Izaguirre could easily have been sent off for that. England need to stay calm, there have been a few tasty challenges since the restart.
The temperature is reaching boiling point on the pitch. Celtic's Emilio Izaguirre becomes the second Honduras player to be booked after bringing down Daniel Sturridge and then belting the ball at close range into the Liverpool player, who is lying on the ground.
Sturridge, to his credit, does well to keep cool in the circumstances. Remember, this is supposed to be a friendly.

Of course the other worry for England manager Roy Hodgson in injuries. He will be holding his breath every time someone goes down and captain Steven Gerrard was rightly angry at a wild tackle from Luis Garrido that earned the Honduras player a yellow card.
Roy Hodgson can be forgiven if he is wishing this game had been called off. Moments after Adam Lallana's sloppy pass almost gifts Honduras a goal, Daniel Sturridge is left hobbling after a hefty challenge. Then Steven Gerrard is left wincing in pain after Luis Garrido's cynical tackle which earns the Honduras player a yellow card. This is turning into a bruising affair for the Three Lions.
