"When they have tried to attack in the last few minutes with Chamakh playing on their back four, Palace have looked quite neat, but I just don't know why they have not tried to contribute to the game by going forward."

  2. FA Youth Cup finalpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Goals, goals, goals! All of Chelsea's hard work is undone as Solomon Sambou is given loads of space some 25 yards from goal and his low strike flies into the back of the net. Fulham now lead 3-2 on the night and 6-4 on aggregate.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Joe Allen is booked for taking out Marouane Chamakh about 30 yards from goal after Liverpool had given the ball away. From the resulting free-kick, Mile Jedinak chips towards Scott Dann at the far post but it's easily cleared by the Reds defenders.

Anonymous via text: No matter what happens in the last 2 games Liverpool have come a long way this season, not one person outside of the club expected the season to go as it has.

"Could you hear the Palace crowd going attack, attack, attack? They started off fine, but they have gone into this mode of everyone behind the ball and defending in their own third. You cannot play that way against Liverpool, because they will hurt you."

  6. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Martin Skrtel and Joe Ledley are in a crumpled heap close to the centre circle after clashing heads. They're both fine to continue, although Ledley will be wishing he got just as close to Joe Allen for the goal.

Lee:, external No disrespect to Palace but I hope Liverpool can win this just to make that final day packed full of drama, and I'm a City fan.

Freddy Hare:, external Can't tell if this game is being played at a frenetic pace or if Colombian radio commentators speak really, really quickly.

  8. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

That was Joe Allen's first Premier League goal for Liverpool. What a time to bag.

    Steve Claridge
    BBC Sport at Selhurst Park

"Ledley was marking him, but he's peeled off, and he was never in contact with him. It was a good finish, Allen went to the back post and completely lost Ledley. Palace have been so negative in the last 10 minutes, they've been inviting pressure."

  10. GOALpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Liverpool have lift-off. Steven Gerrard whips in one of his customary corners and Joe Allen peels away from his marker - Joe Ledley - before heading home unmarked from eight yards out. Always mark the little lad!

  11. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Daniel Sturridge is not afraid to think outside the box - literally - and he drives from deep before his curled shot is deflected wide for a corner.

  12. FIRST-HALF ANALYSISpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Chief football writer Phil McNulty at Selhurst Park

"Crystal Palace seem determined to test Liverpool's patience by sitting very deep here - perhaps taking a leaf from Chelsea's book after their recent win at Anfield. Couple of moments of joy for Liverpool, though, and surely a blatant penalty when Yannick Bolasie missed the ball completely in the area and kicked Glen Johnson."

"That was an unbelievable ball from Joe Allen, and Johnson's going to incredibly disappointed with it."

  14. Postpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Chance for Liverpool! A superb pass from Joe Allen over the top picks out Glen Johnson whose looping header drops onto the roof of the net.

  15. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

Palace are doing quite a good job of keeping Liverpool at arm's length here, although Raheem Sterling should do better when he gets round the full-back and whips in a cross which is easily cleared.

  16. FA Youth Cup finalpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

It is absolutely raining goals at Stamford Bridge as Fulham snatch back the initiative moments after Chelsea had taken the lead. Patrick Roberts chases a smart ball through the defence and lashes in from a tricky angle. It is 2-2 on the night but Fulham now lead 5-4 on aggregate and you would not bet against more goals in this tie.

  17. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

I've just seen a replay of that earlier Liverpool penalty appeal and Glen Johnson was actually kicked quite hard in the thigh by Yannick Bolasie. Referee Mark Clattenburg could quite easily have given that one. A let-off for Tony Pulis's men, who are yet to concede from a set-piece this season.

Ahmer Murad:, external Good to see Palace are willing to play football. If Liverpool get the early goal, this could get interesting.

Jamie Atkins:, external In the first half of the season you'd believe Liverpool could score lots against Palace, but under Pulis? No chance.

  19. FA Youth Cup finalpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 5 May 2014

An amazing response by Chelsea as they turn this game on the head with a quickfire double. Charlie Colkett cancelled out Fulham's early goal from the penalty spot, before Jordan Houghton smashed in a second for the Blues barely a minute later. It is 4-4 on aggregate now.
