A good save from Adrian, who turns Niko Kranjcar's 25-yard free-kick round the post.

"I've been talking about how QPR are not dynamic enough in the middle of the park, but Adel Taarabt is the kind of player who can provide that. We have seen him produce moments of brilliance but there are question marks over his fitness. If you have a fit Taarabt you have a fantastic player."

Nedum Onuoha decides to take matters into his own hands and gallops forward before smashing a shot over the bar. Seconds later, Rangers send for Adel Taarabt, who replaces Sandro in midfield.

"Robert Green passed Enner Valencia the ball in his own box (61 mins)! QPR are extremely fortunate not to be 3-0 down, because that was a real lapse in concentration from Green.
"I worry for QPR because some of the defending has been schoolboy stuff really. They have been very sloppy all over the park. I think this will be Harry Redknapp's biggest test. If he can keep them up this year I think he will be absolutely delighted."
West Ham, who started the day 16th in the Premier League table, are now seventh - above both Arsenal and Liverpool.

"I didn't see anything different with Manchester United today, they haven't cracked it. Everton could have got a draw. But I do think we will see more teams coming to Old Trafford thinking they have a chance this season. And that should make for some exciting games."

Have West Ham made it three? No.
Rob Green gets away with one, though - the goalkeeper bizarrely passing a goal-kick straight to Enner Valencia, who slots home from six yards out. But the referee scrubs out the goal, saying the Hammers striker was not the requisite 10 yards away from the ball.

"James Tomkins does brilliantly here. The ball is going nowhere and he reverses it, lobbing it over two or three QPR defenders. Diafra Sakho has then got the simplest of headers from two yards out. QPR are in trouble."
Is that game, set and match? West Ham double their lead when a spot of penalty box pinball ends with James Tomkins, perhaps rather fortuitously, picking out Diafra Sakho with a hooked cross and the striker is unmarked to head home from six yards out. That's his fourth goal in five Premier League games this season. Goal machine.
Our good friends at Opta inform me that only Manchester City (52) have had more corners than West Ham (50) so far this season. Of course, they scored the only goal of today's game from one.
It's like the two teams have traded places in the second half. QPR look the better side going forward, while West Ham appear to lack any class in the final third.

"QPR had to make a change to get back into this game and Harry Redknapp has gone for it and taken a chance. Niko Kranjcar will be playing off Charlie Austin and Bobby Zamora, who has now come on.
"We may see a lot more big balls coming in to the West Ham area because they are three six-footers. It's a positive change. We know Zamora, he's a very cultured centre-forward, he brings people into play, and already he has made a great chance for Austin."
I do like it when a winger hugs the touchline. Here's Stewart Downing's touch map.
James Tomkins sees yellow for hauling down a galloping Bobby Zamora in full flight.
QPR look a different outfit going forward in these early stages, and Harry Redknapp's half-time change almost pays dividends when Leroy Fer drives forward from midfield, lays the ball out wide to Bobby Zamora and a fine cross comes into the box which Charlie Austin fires wide from 10 yards out.
Graham D: West Ham might be playing better football but they don't score enough goals and are always likely to give one away.
