Is Di Maria the new Veron?published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2015
15:33 GMT 8 March 2015Speaking of Manchester United v Arsenal, that match is the subject of Robbie Savage's latest column for the BBC Sport website. In it, he compares the impact of Alexis Sanchez and Angel Di Maria this season, and wonders whether "flop" Di Maria is in danger of becoming the New Juan Sebastian Veron.
Veron was a brilliant player. But he just didn't really suit Manchester United or the Premier League. Is Di Maria the same?

Top four or FA Cup?published at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2015
15:31 GMT 8 March 2015Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says a top-four Premier League place is more important than winning the FA Cup.
United host Arsenal in the FA Cup last eight on Monday (live on BBC One, 19:45 GMT kick-off) as they challenge to get back into the Champions League by claiming a top-four league spot.
Van Gaal said: "To finish in the first four is a fantastic result and for us at Manchester United even more I think.
"If you win the FA Cup you are not in the Champions League but you have won a title."
What would Liverpool fans rather have?

15:23 GMT 8 March 2015Anfield is slowly filling up but most fans are making the most of the warmer weather to stay out of their seats for now. Liverpool haven't won a trophy since the League Cup of 2012. Is this their year?

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer: "It's been a long day for us, we normally kick-off at 3pm!
"We are going to learn a hell of a lot about our players today that is for sure.
"We have had a hell of a test on our hands to reinvent the squad, reduce the wage bill and still be competitive in a very tough league - the Championship.
"We have spent just under £3million so it shows you the gulf between the two clubs."

'Bowyer is magnificent'published at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2015

Former Nottingham Forest and England Under 21s manager Stuart Pearce: "Blackburn were in a very turbulent period and Gary Bowyer has gone in there and you don't see any stories coming out of Ewood Park anymore.
"He is a very good young manager. He's understated, but he should have more to say for himself because he is a magnificent manager.
"I can't see beyond Liverpool - they are the team in this country on the best form and they have home advantage as well."

15:08 GMT 8 March 2015Jacob from Hertfordshire: Got to be Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira scoring the winning penalty in 2005 FA Cup final with his last kick for the club.
Craig from West Byfleet: Didier Drogba scoring the equaliser and then the winning penalty with his last kick (in his first spell) for Chelsea to win their first Champions League. Can't get much better than that.

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer: "I slept OK. Everybody is well excited. We had a good win against Sheffield Wednesday in the week but since then the attention has turned to this game and there is a buzz around the town, which is great because it has been a while.
"There is a special atmosphere at Anfield and we prepared the players for that but when the whistle goes, I know it is a clichE, but it's a game of football and we'll have good go at it.
"Our league form has been a bit inconsistent but that goes out of the window today.
"The players take a lot of confidence from those FA Cup performances - against Stoke and Swansea - but Liverpool are the form team in the Premier League. Even if Brendan Rodgers decides to rest a few players today that doesn't weaken the team."

14:59 GMT 8 March 2015A Liverpool victory this afternoon would take them just one behind rivals Everton with regards FA Cup semi-final appearances, behind joint leaders Manchester United and Arsenal - who play each other tomorrow.
Perhaps more surprisingly, Blackburn Rovers are in ninth in all the all-time list and would go level with Tottenham with 19 semi-final appearances if they pull off a shock at Anfield.
