There is a lot of loving for Nigel Pearson and his teams' super form as the season ends but what about Dick Advocaat.

Not only does he wear a designer coat and scarf on the touchline, he hasn't half pulled off a blinder since taking charge.

In the 7 games under Advocaat, Sunderland have picked up 11 points, as many as in the 14 previous Premier League games combined.

The Black Cats have two games - Arsenal and Chelsea - and need one point to stay up.

If it is reaction and chat about today's 15:00 BST Premier League kick-offs then stick right where you are as the players slowly circle the pitch waving to a small collection of fans who haven't headed off to beat the traffic. However, if you want to join in the Steven Gerrard shenanigans, we have a separate live text on his Anfield farewell, along with an undercard featuring Liverpool v Crystal Palace.

Not too sure what to make of this Queens Park Rangers lap of honour at the end of their home season. Bizarrely, for a club heading down into the Championship, there are a lot of smiles on show in the stands. Charlie Austin is kicking a ball around with his son, manager Chris Ramsey is posing for pictures. It all feels a little bit odd.

  4. 'We've proved a lot of people wrong'published at 17:11 British Summer Time 16 May 2015

Leicester captain Wes Morgan: "We knew we had to keep calm. A point is a great result. To get from where we were 18 months ago to where we are know, I'm delighted. A lot of people wrote us off a couple of months ago, and I feel we've proved a lot of people wrong."

Phil, Fareham: In fairness to QPR, they clearly read my text at half time (16.04). I stand corrected.

Jon: A relieved Villa fan here, makes the result earlier slightly less worse but again, relying on teams below us for favours.

  8. Red hair daypublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 16 May 2015

Tottenham's Danny Rose has been explaining his goal, and his red hair colour, to Sky Sports after his side's 2-0 win over Hull.

"The hair is a mid-life crisis I think.

"Ryan Mason did brilliantly to find me, I've not caught it as sweet as I like but it went in.

"We needed that win massively. We needed that three points to help get Euopean football. We want a positive end to the season."

What about that for a day Aston Villa fans? Humiliated, hammered and hung out to dry in a 6-1 defeat at Southampton, yet confirmed as safe a few hours later. It's never dull this game is it? FA Cup final to come of course.

    John Hartson
BBC Radio 5 live at White Hart Lane

"It'll go down as a good win for Spurs, Hull were very spirited, they showed lots of endeavour, but they were brought down by two pieces of quality from Spurs. A great win for Spurs, a little bit deflating for Hull."

Nigel Pearson is typically Jekyll and Hyde at Sunderland. He's on the pitch with his players, simply clapping fans one moment like a man in control before flipping into a raging bull as he embraces his players seconds later. He just high-fived a player so hard it could be heard in India.

Some fans rush onto the pitch at Loftus Road. They have nothing to celebrate as they are already down but at least their last home game of the season ends in a win. Questions aplenty for Newcastle United.

If they draw next week and Hull City win, it won't be good enough.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16:52 British Summer Time 16 May 2015

Newcastle free-kick, a good area, 25 yards out and central. Papiss Cisse hits it, rubbish. Catching practice for Alex McCarthy.

Romelu Lukaku's late diving header gives Everton just their fifth away win of the season. It ends a run of consecutive defeats, in which they conceded five goals. West Ham say farewell to Upton Park this season with a defeat.

Leicester City's players are embracing, I'm talking big group hugs. As long as Hull don't turn their game with Tottenham around the Foxes are safe. And they are, it's all over at White Hart Lane. Leicester will be in the Premier League next season.
