    PSV 2-1 Man Utd

Maxime Lestienne has been a danger down PSV's left and after he blasts over former Newcastle man Luuk de Jong wastes a glorious chance to wrap this one up.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:29

    Man City 1-2 Juventus

Quality early hit from Yaya Toure, no backlift, plenty of dip and power but once again Gigi Buffon is equal to it, a full-length dive and turn away.

    Man City 1-2 Juventus

Nicolas Otamendi was rolled slightly for that Alvaro Morata goal but it was by no means a mistake. A brilliantly taken goal from a striker who had been feeding off scraps all night.

Three minutes left. City have played largely well tonight but have been wanting at the fine margins at either end.

"Juventus will go to three at the back now, with two wing-backs. And that is one of the hardest back fives you will face in world football.

"It's also worth noting, after Vincent Kompany came off, who came on to replace him? Nicolas Otamendi. And who got rolled for the Alvaro Morata goal? Nicolas Otamendi."

    Ronaldo hat-trick

Can nothing stop Cristiano Ronaldo? The man has just completed his hat-trick against Shakhtar Donetsk by heading in after a Marcelo shot was parried by keeper Andriy Pyatov. That's eight goals in two games for Ronaldo.

    Not too bad.

"Is this another sob story for Manchester City in the Champions League? Yet again?

"It's an absolutely brilliant finish, and what a beautiful turn by Alvaro Morata. Joe Hart couldn't do anything about that."

  12. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-2 Juventuspublished at 21:23 British Summer Time 15 September 2015

    Alvaro Morata (81 mins)

Another fine goal from last year's finalists as Alvaro Morata scores a belting drive! On his left foot he hits it early, it's going wide until the last second and curls just enough to kiss the inside of the post and go in.

    A superb goal.

    Man City 1-1 Juventus

Vincent Kompany took his place on the bench as per a normal substitution, so perhaps the big man isn't injured after all? That is good news - but also a big call for Manuel Pellegrini.

    Thirteen minutes remaining at City.

Samir Nasri is away after great play from Fernandinho, Kevin De Brune is on down the left but Nasri gives it away cheaply. Such a frustrating player at times.

    Man City 1-1 Juventus

    Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at the Etihad Stadium

"Vincent Kompany has been caught square once or twice but it has to be an injury. Why else would you take him off? Surley Manuel Pellegrini's not annoyed about the goal they conceded?

"I still think it's unlikely we'll see Sergio Aguero come on too but right now you have to think about it. Wilfried Bony has had enough of an effect in this game."

    PSV 2-1 Man Utd

Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial have linked up really nicely at times tonight and the Dutchman is nearly in again against his old club. Last man clears his lines though.

Still 22 minutes of normal time left in Eindhoven, where the second half kicked off late.
