As is often the case when a game has a long stoppage, the fizz has fizzled out in Eindhoven. Time to regroup.

BBC Radio 5 live at the Etihad Stadium"Juan Cuadrado's pace looks very impressive. But you get the feeling that at some point it'll be either Paul Pogba for Juventus or Yaya Toure for Manchester City who end up doing something brilliant to break the deadlock."

The pictures of Luke Shaw's injury are really very concerning. We shouldn't speculate about the nature of his injury but put it this way, I wouldn't bank on him playing again for at least six months.

BBC Radio 5 live at the Philips Stadion"We're going to have to have at least 10 minutes added on here. Eventually Luke Shaw was raised on to a trolley-stretcher, and there was warm applause as he was taken off the pitch.
"The game had been buzzing but it's flat now as the players try to re-find their rhythm."

City zipping it around but still lacking a cutting edge. Left-back Aleksandar Kolarov gets a free-kick away but it curls just beyond the post.

Nobody can accuse Manchester City of not getting the ball down and passing it about. This is the move which ends in Wilfried Bony's blocked shot.

Steven Taylor: Luke Shaw has been amazing with Smalling this season. We just cannot go without bad injuries for a season. Gonna be a big miss.
Richard: He's been our best player all season and now he's injured. Can't believe Luke Shaw's luck.

After a long, long, long delay, Luke Shaw leaves the field on a stretcher. We will bring you news as soon as we have it but the England man is on the gas and air. A sporting round of applause from all four stands as Louis van Gaal comforts Shaw as he goes down the tunnel.

BBC Radio 5 live at the Philips Stadion"I've counted about nine different medical staff come on the pitch to attend to Luke Shaw. At first they brought a stretcher and then that was sent back with a new one more like a trolley coming on. There's been various bits of equipment coming out of silver cases, and the players are keeping warm knocking the ball around.
"They've only shown the replay once on the screens here, and it does not look good at all for Shaw."

Luke Shaw is still down. This is undoubtedly serious now as the players resort to playing passes to each other to keep warm.

Less than 20 minutes in and Paul Pogba has covered almost every part of the pitch. Point to prove?

The potential severity of Luke Shaw's injury is illustrated by the fact that he is still having treatment. A long wait for the unfortunate left-back.

Since that flurry of crowd backing City have indeed stepped it up. David Silva has got on the ball more, and that can only be a good thing for his side. A class act.
He links up with Raheem Sterling neatly on two or three occasions. Elusive.

Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer"Manchester City have never quite looked at home in the Champions League - and there seems to an extra layer of anxiety among their fans when Europe's elite such as Juventus come to town. It has already been in evidence here. Maybe just a little relaxtion required all round."

BBC Radio 5 live at the Philips Stadion"Luke Shaw had made a brilliant run, he drove all in the way down the line towards the penalty area and was eventually hacked down.
"It doesn't look good for him at the moment. You could see it was bad from the reaction of both the Manchester United and PSV players as they called for the stretcher."

Juve showing their pedigree and class now, keeping the ball well and frustrating City. The home fans try and drive their side on. Wilfried Bony links up well with David Silva and has a shot cleared away. That's better.

Luke Shaw has started the season well and this is a brilliant run, he glides past two men and gets a shot away. The challenge comes in from Hector Moreno and catches Shaw - and the England man is in trouble.
A stretcher is called for. Shaw in pain.
