Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal speaking to BT Sport: "You can see whether it is Wayne Rooney or Anthony Martial up front when the match starts!
"In the first game against CSKA, we dominated and created chances but did not score one more than the opponent.
On reports that Memphis Depay turned up late at the team hotel: "It is unbelievable that they can write that without asking! Morgan Schneiderlin was in the 18 but was ill this morning, so I have to take action. Memphis trained for the first time after injury yesterday, and I have to find out his reaction.
"He has to go and get his boots from the ground and so I was pleased that he managed to get to the hotel so quickly."

PSV v Wolfsburg (19:45 GMT)
Wolfsburg go into tonight's match at PSV Eindhoven in the knowledge a win would really tighten their grip on Group B.
The German side are getting it together. They have won their last four games in the Bundesliga and Champions League and of course they have the brilliantly named Bas Dost up front. He has seven goals in 14 league and European games.
Real Madrid v Paris St-Germain (19:45 GMT)
Ronaldo - the highest goalscorer in Champions League history on 83 - is two clear this term.
Seydou Doumbia of CSKA Moscow, Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, Javier Hernandez of Bayer Leverkusen, Vincent Aboubakhar of Porto and Nicolas Gaitan of Benfica all have three goals each.

"A big question for me is the lack of pace at Manchester United. Wayne Rooney does not have the pace he used to have. If you look at Juan Mata he doesn't. Martial is not all about pace. So they aren't really frightening teams behind. You bring on the likes of Fellaini and they don't frighten teams either."

Alan Green
BBC Radio 5 live
"For all sorts of reasons, Manchester United need to win tonight and ideally with some style as that's been the criticism over the last few games. It's not criticism that is normally levelled at United. I've been coming here 33 years and I don't remember a period when it's been quite as dull. I sense disquiet from some United fans. A win is not essential but it would make life a lot easier."

Manchester United v CSKA Moscow
If you'd only followed Louis van Gaal's team for the last few weeks, you'd be forgiven for thinking they were called 'Manchester United Nil'.
It would be fair to say they've had a tough time in front of goal of late, failing to score for three games running. Their stubborn defence has helped prevent them getting beat in all three (taking penalties out of it).
But a solid defence comes second to a mis-firing attack in the 'things worth reporting' stakes, hence the media focus on United's five-hours without a goal.
Sevilla v Man City (19:45 GMT)
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is giving little away about his thinking behind dropping Kevin de Bruyne.
"For different reasons I chose this starting XI - I think it is best for the game. Tactically, physicality, different things," he tells BT Sport.
On the threat posed by Sevilla: "They are a very strong team at home, I managed here for nine years so I know how difficult it is to win here. There is pressure from the supporters, especially on the referee. It will be a close game."
On scoring late winners against Norwich, Sevilla and Monchengladbach recently: "We believe in what we can do in a game, even if we are not playing as well as we can do. We have spirit, character, personality, lots of things needed to win games."

Man United v CSKA Moscow
Here is why Seydou Doumbia not starting is potentially good news for Manchester United...
A year ago tomorrow, the 27-year-old Ivory Coast international scored both of CSKA's goals in a 2-1 win over Manchester City.
Since then Doumbia signed for Roma for £10.8m in January before returning to CSKA on loan in August after two goals and only 13 matches in the Eternal City.
Less happy returns to Manchester for Zoran Tosic. Signed by Sir Alex Ferguson for £7m as a 21-year-old in January 2009, he managed only 79 minutes of first-team action before leaving for CSKA 18 months later.

You'll have to get back to us for full details on the CSKA Moscow team news, but the headline - as we make full use of online translation services - is that star striker Seydou Doumbia is out of the starting line-up.
Ahmed Musa is the man leading the line instead.

Man United v CSKA Moscow (19:45 GMT)
Underestimate Manchester's rush-hour traffic at your peril.
The CSKA team bus is apparently still snarled up somewhere en route from the city centre.
On closer inspection, the photo they posted on Twitter which we featured at 18:48 GMT, was of the Russian side leaving their hotel rather than arriving at their destination.
