Sevilla v Man City (19:45 GMT)

As you know, Kevin De Bruyne has been dropped to the bench as Manchester City make two changes from the XI which started the 2-1 win over Norwich on Saturday.

Young forward Kelechi Iheanacho is ineligible so Raheem Sterling and Fernando come into the team. That means Yaya Toure will play behind striker Wilfried Bony.

England midfielder Fabian Delph and France left-back Gael Clichy return from injury to sit on the bench.

Sevilla also make two changes from their La Liga defeat at Villarreal. Influential Argentine midfielder Ever Banega replaces Danish international Michael Krohn-Dehli, while Spain striker Fernando Llorente - a summer signing from Juventus - comes in for injured top scorer Kevin Gameiro.

  3. Sailing through?published at 18:59

    Sevilla v Manchester City

Man City's 2-1 win over tonight's opponents, Sevilla, two weeks ago left them second in Group D with six points, three ahead of the Europa League champions and one behind leaders Juventus. A win in Spain tonight, coupled with a Juve win over bottom club Borussia Monchengladbach would send City through.

It would be a rare treat for City to qualify with two games to spare. In the past two seasons they've scraped through like Indiana Jones under a sliding death-chamber door.

  4. Keeping it tightpublished at 18:58

    Manchester United v CSKA Moscow

The last team that Manchester United scored against was tonight's opponents, CSKA, in a 1-1 draw in Moscow two weeks ago - a result which left the two sides with an identical record in Group B of one win, one draw and one defeat, with four goals scored and four goals conceded.

They are joint second in what is one of the tightest groups in the competition, led by German side Wolfsburg on six points and propped up by Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven with three.

So, nothing is getting decided tonight, unlike Group D...

    Out of retirement

Has Teddy Sheringham still got it? This suggests, yes. However, we could be about to find out for sure. The 49-year-old former Tottenham, Manchester United and England striker, now managing Stevenage, has registered himself as a player for Boro and could turn out for them against Welwyn Garden City on Wednesday alongside his assistant Kevin Watson, who has also registered as a player.

This got us thinking; what former player do you wish could come out of retirement and return to playing action? Would Andy Cole help United out with their goalscoring problems? Could Tony Yeboah inspire a Leeds charge up the Championship? Are Oldham crying out for an Andy Ritchie/Ian Marshall forward pairing?

  13. Plenty to get excited aboutpublished at 18:38

    Tonight's action

Our focus tonight will primarily be on the shenanigans in Manchester and Seville, but that does mean there is not an awful lot of interesting action happening elsewhere. There is a full set ofChampionshipfixtures, a couple of games inLeague Oneand six more Champions League encounters, includingReal Madrid v Paris St-Germain.

If that doesn't get you excited then I suggest you head on over to BBC Two at 21:00 GMT for The Great Pottery Throw Down. That should be more your pace.

  14. City seeing clearlypublished at 18:34

    Champions League

The picture is a lot clearer at Manchester City, following a month that saw them win five out of six, scoring 20 goals in the process, to leave them top of the Premier League and in a decent position in their Champions League group.

However, City have a tough task on their hands tonight away at Spanish side Sevilla, who scored five unanswered goals against Getafe and beat Barcelona in their last two home games.

  15. Peering through the fogpublished at 18:30

    Champions League

It is somewhat apt that the country has been blanketed in fog during the build-up to today's Champions League fixture featuring Manchester United - a club currently struggling for clarity.

Louis van Gaal has been posed a lot of questions in recent weeks: is Anthony Martial wasted on the left, what is wrong with Wayne Rooney and will his side ever score again?

Tonight, he has a chance to provide some answers and lead his side to a much-needed win in what is proving to be an unexpectedly tricky Champions League group.
