"When Sanchez picked up the ball, Darmain's first thought should be get him away from goal but he allows him to come inside and shoot at will like that.

"United are a yard off everything, they look a yard off the pace. They need to do something pretty quick to step things up."

With over a quarter of an hour gone, neither Memphis Depay or Juan Mata have played a single pass. This could be a long game for Manchester United, unless something changes soon.

Manchester United finally string a few passes together for the first time in this game, but it simply buys them a little time before the next Arsenal attack.

Wayne Rooney's pass fails to find Juan Mata and the Gunners break, almost getting off another shot through Theo Walcott, but the ball is cleared at the last moment.

Stunning stuff! We've been talking up about some of the memorable encounters between these sides and this is shaping up to be another classic. What will Manchester United's response be? Their players look, understandably, stunned.

Arsenal are still in possession, Manchester United just cannot get the ball.
