Manuel Pellegrini believes that Kevin de Bruyne has not suffered a cruciate ligament injury tonight but I would remain cautious until a proper diagnosis is made.
Let's hope for the best though. He's had an excellent first season in England thus far.

"It was a good game of football, we scored the first goal, got in a great position. It was a big call for their second goal, heartbreaking, when you watch the replay it is incredible you don't get the decision right.
"It is impossible how you describe when you saw a decision once more, so clear and so big, it is heartbreaking, I don't think anyone in the stadium would disagree that goal is the major, major change in the tie.
"In the replay it doesn't leave you with any doubt, the ball is clearly out and should never be allowed to carry on.
"We should take this as an inspiration to do something special because that call cost us. We played with an incredible swagger and character."

Just for the record, let me state that Kevin de Bruyne's goal clearly should not have been allowed...
Well done Man City but what I don't understand is why you, the media, are not challenging the sport of football by allowing a goal that should be disallowed to stand. It's not the ref's fault but, in my view you should be advocating for change rather than glibly allowing such goals to stand when coverage shows it shouldn't
