Man City 3-1 Everton (Agg: 4-3)

Everton take off John Stones, and bring on Seamus Coleman. If Everton score we would go to extra time, and then Everton would go through on away goals.

    Sergio Aguero

That is a brilliant header! Kevin de Bruyne has changed the game, this time he puts in a brilliant cross at great pace and Sergio Aguero guides the header right into the corner from 12 yards out. You don't associate Aguero with stunning headers but he got a brilliant one at Watford the other week and that is quality.

This is also the only scoreline that would take us to penalties after extra-time...

More goals in this? Manchester City are still going full throttle but you get the feeling that if Everton can somehow survive, then one ball up to Romelu Lukaku could do it for them...

"I said it's about time De Bruyne came up with a really important goal. He found himself in a great area. The ball was out of play from Raheem Sterling - it was a poor decision from the linesman. Gareth Barry does appeal that the ball was out but then he switches off. If they go through that was a crucial goal. "

Man City 2-1 Everton (Agg: 3-3)

The Etihad is ringing now, cracking atmosphere. A replay shows that not only was the ball a yard out of play, but Gareth Barry in the middle stopped to appeal as Kevin de Bruyne slammed home. Play to the whistle...

Bad call for Everton though. Will City now take an attacker off or go for the winner? We go to extra-time as it stands.

    Kevin de Bruyne

The substitution pays off! It's not without controversy though as Raheem Sterling takes on John Stones for pace, beats him and cuts the ball back, there's the £55m Belgian Kevin de Bruyne to caress the ball home from 12 yards out. Bang.

But hang on - the ball was out of play before Sterling cut it back...

Twenty-two minutes remain. City's almost kamikaze line-up now may also play into Everton's hands as one or two passes could see the visitors in on goal. Which makes the decision to take Gerard Deulofeu off all the more baffling to me...

Manchester City now have Jesus Navas, Raheem Sterling, Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva behind Sergio Aguero.

You can't say they're not going for this! Louis van Gaal has just put his foot through his TV...

Into the final half hour, of normal time anyway. Everton v Liverpool at Wembley as it stands.

Can City force their way back into this? What time will we see Kevin de Bruyne on? Everton having more of the ball since that switch.

A tweak in shape for Everton now as Arouna Kone has gone right up front alongside Romelu Lukaku. Brave from Roberto Martinez, but he had to do something, City have been all over Everton since the restart.

A double change from Everton. And this is interesting

Gerard Deulofeu is brought off, with Arouna Kone taking his place. And James McCarthy replaces Leon Osman in the middle.

Deulofeu has looked a real threat all night. Some of the travelling numbers make their displeasure known...

A 'proper' cup tie, this! Raheem Sterling flashes a low cross across the goalmouth and Sergio Aguero is close to turning it in, Yaya Toure keeps the ball alive and Sterling has a follow-up effort blocked.

    Brilliant defending from John Stones.

Everton are rescued by the woodwork for the second time tonight as David Silva's header bounces back off the post and through a crowd of players.

It's wide open - not sure who that currently suits best.
