Great courage to throw bodies forward, take a risk. If Wales can get one back it'll be a really nervy last 10 minutes for Portugal. But we need that one goal.

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

A touch of kitchen sink about this from Wales now, just what they needed. Jonny WIlliams crosses well, there are four men in the middle, it's half cleared and Ashley Williams hits a shot against team-mate Sam Vokes. That could have gone anywhere!

  6. 'Passion and spirit'published at 21:36 British Summer Time 6 July 2016

Wales showed against Belgium they can come from behind. They can show that passion and spirit again. We just need a bit more in these last 15 minutes.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 79 mins

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

As Kevin Ratcliffe says, Portugal have introduced Joao Moutinho for Adrien Silva.

Gareth Bale shoots from a good 30 yards, loads of swerve and that nearly caught out Rui Patricio!

  9. 'Brave'published at 21:35 British Summer Time 6 July 2016

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a great save by Hennessey, brave as well because Nani was coming sliding in. Joao Moutinho coming on now to slow the game down, see it through.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 78 mins

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

Oh that should be curtains! Gareth Bale loses the ball on the edge of his own box, Danilo picks it up and charges into the area, he's desperate to offload it but ends up having to shoot. Unconvincing, but Wayne Hennessey watches it squirm through his grasp - and then recovers to gather it in!

    So nearly a third.

Wales really do miss Ramsey being that linchpin. It just shows you what a good player he is. I didn't think we'd miss him as much as this.

  12. Wales deflated but defiantpublished at 21:32 British Summer Time 6 July 2016

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Stade de Lyon

The scoreline has had next to no effect on Wales' fans, who are still in full voice even as their team look destined for elimination at Euro 2016.

Despite their rousing support, however, it is difficult to shake the sense of deflation around Stade de Lyon.

Wales' campaign has been a momentous one, and they will not let it end without a fight.

Daryl Wing: Turns out Wales are a one man team after all. Seriously missing Aaron.

Chris: Wales just don't have enough quality on the pitch compared to Portugal.

Gillian Ellsbury: Whatever happens, Wales are heroes. Great team spirit, passion and hard work.

Wales have got to dig in and find a chance, a set-play - whatever it takes to get back into this game. There's still time.

Gareth Bale now playing in a front three, Wales need their full-backs to supply the width. Chris Gunter does - wondering about that best man speech now? Bet it was a cracker - and crosses over everyone.

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

    John Hartson

Those two goals coming in such quick succession knocked the stuffing out of Wales. We have made some positive changes though. We just need to get the ball up to the lads up top.

Renato Sanches, perhaos the one entertainer in mint green this summer, lashes a shot over the top and is then replaced by Andre Gomes.

Portugal are less than 20 minutes away from the final, 12 years after their last.

    A goal can change it...

Wales are just lacking that little bit of zip. It's not there.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 71 mins

Cristiano Ronaldo is bookedImage source, Reuters

If it does end like this, I don't think many neutrals will be backing Portugal in the final. A limited side with an unlimited talent up front. They're not exactly 'entertainers'.

That cheers up some in the stadium though - Cristiano Ronaldo is booked for kicking the ball away.

  20. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Portugal 2-0 Wales

Jose Fonte climbs well to meet a corner but he can only head at Wayne Hennessey, and veteran Bruno Alves is then in the book for preventing the keeper from releasing the ball quickly.
