Rob Gallagher: Going all the way to pens? Ronaldo v Bale on the deciding spot-kicks?
Craig, Kent: Is it OK to be English and have a desire for the Welsh to win...? I'm having a row with myself.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Interesting, tactical - or just actually quite dull?
I don't think France or Germany will have been too worried by this opening half-hour. Portugal whack a long ball downfield and that's nothing.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Wales have more possession but Portugal have done more attacking so far.
Portugal haven't won a game inside 90 minutes yet, don't forget.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
The Wales fans are giving Iceland a run for their money, superb coordinated singing and clapping now. They are making a right old din.

Organised, disciplined, they're tracking their runners and Wales are frustrating Portugal - that move ends with a shot over the bar from 30 yards. We're happy with that.

One thing for sure - there's nothing to fear here for this Welsh side. They look more than capable of opening Portugal up.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Andy King is really bombing on from midfield for Wales, and he is behind the Portuguese defence to nod down another great ball from Gareth Bale. It sits up for Joe Ledley, 25 yards out, but he goes for a pass instead of glory and he can't find Chris Gunter.

Neil Taylor always has loads of space down the left, it's always the get-out ball for Wales, because Renato Sanches doesn't want to defend.
But by the second half the space will have been closed up. They need to make the most of it.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Renato Sanches is a livewire, jinking past Neil Taylor on the Welsh left but he can't get a telling pass in. He then pops up on the other wing but Ashley Williams is there to sweep up.
The Portuguese front three or four are so fluid. hard to pin down.

"We are following the live text of the Wales games as we travel to the next stage in the TDF.
"Oh and when I interviewed Geraint Thomas earlier he reckoned 2-0 Wales (Bale to score)
"I once read the travel on a Welsh radio station (Coast FM) so I'm claiming it as my home nation."
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Superb touch from Hal Robson-Kanu to burn around the outside of Jose Fonte with ease, afterburners on, he then puts in a good cross and there's Andy King - his header is deflected over!
Portugal then counter superbly and Wayne Hennessey has to be alert to gather alongside a leaping Cristiano Ronaldo.

A 60-yard run from Bale again, he gets a shot in right at the end of it, straight into the hands but that is the danger, that's what he's capable of.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Brilliant from Gareth Bale - there just aren't many people in world football who can do this. He gets the ball inside his own half, takes a touch and then just pulls away, leaving three men in his wake. He runs and runs, Forrest Gump in France, onto his left foot still 25 yards out and he lashes a good shot straight at Rui Patricio.

JavelBleach: I expect Portugal to be targeting Allen for most of the rest of the game now, & rolling over shot when he touches them.
James Purkis: Joe Allen: the Welsh Pirlo? More like the Welsh Terry Hurlock so far.
Magnus PK: If Bale scores the winner, will there be a new Prince of Wales tonight? Or does it has to be the final?
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Gareth Bale now pops up on the right wing, running at his man and pulling in a low cross which goalkeeper Rui Patricio is able to gather in.
A good few minutes for Wales. And Bale.

The ball's just a little bit behind Bale, who breaks away from his man in a training-ground move. If you're being critical he should get it on target, he had plenty of space for the shot, but it was just a bit behind him.

Good run from Gareth Bale to win the corner, nice and positive from the first time to get in behind the defence. His pace scares defenders all over the world.
Set plays are crucial for Wales, they have some big boys in there. I think the first corner you should put in and have a fight, especially with their aerial presence.
Portugal 0-0 Wales
Cristiano Ronaldo now catches James Collins with a late challenge. There's a duel which is developing. Probably not the one Ronaldo imagined himself having in the semi final...
