Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant is playing extremely well. He's made two great saves. Stoke are sat deep and United are starting to build some momentum. But Grant is keeping them in it. Zlatan is pulling the strings and United's players are feeding off him. Overall it's been pretty much one-way traffic from United.

Richard: To no one's surprise, Joe Allen is running the game for Stoke. Everything is going through him. Such a good player. 

John Dunthorne: I feel Peter Crouch would be a better option than Bony for Stoke City. He would at least be putting in the effort.

Have Stoke weathered the storm? No good chances for Manchester United for a few minutes now. 

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a sly dig into the ribs of Ryan Shawcross as he prepares to defend a free-kick. Gets away with it. 

Another chance. Jesse Lingard crosses early and well, Zlatan Ibrahimovic shoots and Ryan Shawcross makes a point-blank block.

Manchester United must surely take one of these chances soon. Zlatan Ibrahimovic rolls his man on the left wing and pings in a great ball to the near post, Jesse Lingard gets there first but again Lee Grant makes a very good save indeed!

Not sure how this game is still goalless, that's a hatful of chances for the hosts already. Stoke aren't likely to have as many clear cut ones but they waste the foundations of one when Xherdan Shaqiri doesn't get a pass off in time. Marko Arnautovic had his own postcode on the left wing. Totally free. 

Alex Curtis: I guess it's going to be up to Rashford to show the more experienced players how to finish today. 

Alabo GB: Juan Mata has been wasted by United for such a long time. Such a quality player to have in your midfield. 

Seth Gogo Egoeh: Just look at the two chances missed by Ibrahimovic and Pogba. If it were to be Rooney, we wouldn't hear enough from the media.

That's two very good chances for Manchester United already, you'd expect Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba to score. But Stoke could have scored too. I expected the game to be flat from the start but it has been open in fact.

Ah that's a very good chance for Stoke! Xherdan Shaqiri is allowed to make his way down the right and pick out Geoff Cameron, on the penalty spot, but he finishes like a defender, side-footing straight at David de Gea.

And then right down the other end, a Zlatan Ibrahimovic flick finds Jesse Lingard, who squares for Paul Pogba - wide!

Antonio Valencia makes a dangerous inroad into the Stoke penalty area but his low cross is eventually dealt with, still the hosts well on top. 

Stoke have completed just 13 passes so far, Marko Arnautovic hasn't touched the ball. 

But the Austrian makes his first touch count, whipping in an excellent cross which Eric Bailly has to clear from in front of Wilfried Bony, and Geoff Cameron stings the palms of David de Gea from 25 yards.
