Harrison Short: The Pogba - Carrick combination is working wonders. Take note Jose?

Peter Collins: United look a little bit in the mood... And with the players they've got, this could get bad VERY fast for Fenerbahce...

Fenerbahce work the ball nicely down their right, Luke Shaw has gone missing, and Volkan Sen hammers the ball right across goal. It's aching for a touch home but there is no movement whatsoever from Emmanuel Emenike and the ball sails out on the full.

    Jesse Lingard

Another excellent goal as the same three men link up again. This time Paul Pogba wins the ball on halfway, finds Wayne Rooney with his back to goal and he tees up Jesse Lingard, who takes a touch and booms it into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

    A fine goal all round.

Paul Pogba has only found the net twice in a game twice before in his career.

On neither occasion - against Udinese and Lazio for Juventus - has he done so before half-time and he has never got three.

Manchester United have not had a hat-trick scorer since Wayne Rooney did it against Club Brugge in the Champions League qualifier last season.

And the time before? Robin van Persie against Olympiakos in 2014.

Matthew: Don't overthink Rooney not taking penalties. He's a leader and knows the younger guys need confidence.

I've just seen replays of both penalties, Wayne Rooney had the ball in his hands for both and seemed to give it to first Paul Pogba and then Anthony Martial.

    What's all that about?

Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard added to their crimes against goal celebrations there too with another highly staged routine. Bring back the handshake and the walk back to halfway. I beg of you.
