    Manchester United 0-0 Fenerbahce

Extended jeering from the consistently vocal Fener fans as United put together a long, long spell of play, some neat one-touch stuff on the fringe of the area and Juan Mata runs on to it - it's well cut out though. Paul Pogba laces a drive in from 25 yards and a defender wears it square on the forehead.

    Wires crossed.

Juan Mata knocks a ball far post when Anthony Martial has burst towards the near.

Decent idea from the Frenchman though.

    Inter Milan 1-0 Southampton

    Southampton

Southampton manager Claude Puel: "It is very hard to lose this game because we have had control of the game every time.

"I think we are unlucky because we played a very good game with quality and had many, many, chances and it is a big disappointment tonight.

"My players gave a good performance important but now we need to recover and think about the Premier League but for the moment it is hard and disappointing for this club."

The two teams are being called together for a jumbled-up group shot to highlight Uefa's anti-racism campaign.

The same has been done at all the Champions League and Europa League matches this week.

Fenerbahce centre half Martin Skrtel is wearing a mask to protect his face. It is a little Hannibal Lecter.

He will be a pantomime villain anyway as a former Liverpool player. Might as well play up to it.

Robin van Persie has been given a rousing reception as he strolls out onto the Old Trafford turf once more.

Samuel Oj: Hoping Rooney can bag some goals tonight & improve his confidence

AADZ: Memphis can't buy a game! Unfortunate that 2 managers have not given him a chance.he should leave! Waste of talent on the bench

Sho Rahman: Don't get what's going on with Mkhi. Was the best No. 10 in the world last season, apparently fit, and not even on the bench.
