Nine England players took part in that mannequin celebration. John Stones didn't and neither did Tom Heaton. 

England are straight on the attack as a good move ends with Theo Walcott's shot from inside the box being deflected into the sidenetting. Pepe Reina catches the corner.

There were a couple of changes at the restart with Burnley keeper Tom Heaton coming on for Joe Hart and Phil Jagielka replacing Gary Cahill in defence.

Three pairs of fresh legs have been thrown on by Michael O'Neill. Midfielder Steven Davis, full-back Conor McLaughlin and centre-back Ryan McGivern come on for Matty Lund, Gareth McAuley and Chris Brunt.

Since the penalty it has been a little bit dull. Spain have dominated possession and kept the ball. It has not been particularly energetic. It has died off. England have done ok but neither keeper has had much to do.

Former Northern Ireland winger Stuart Elliott on BBC Radio Ulster: "Croatia might have many star names missing but they are still a quality side. They look so comfortable on the ball. We can go at it in the second half but don't be surprised if they pick us off at the other end.
