    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho: "The performance is something we are used to, we are playing very well at home. Today was more of the same.

"After the West Ham goal we had 10 minutes where we felt it deeply. West Ham's first shot, they equalise. But in the second half we got the confidence to play and play beautiful, attacking football.

"I told them at half-time it is not possible to play so well and because of a goal stop to play so well. I told them to forget about the undeserved goal, we are playing so well, we have to keep the confidence and lets go on with it.

"Goals plus performance means the real happiness."

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick tells Sky Sports: "We were disappointed with how we finished the first half and frustrated we let the control of the game go. It was nice to come out in the second half and finish the game off comfortably.

"We are creating good chances but things are not going for us. They had half a chance and scored from it. Credit for the boys who killed it off."

Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan: "I am pleased we won and into the semi-final."

    Job done.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is involved, chipping the ball towards Ander Herrera, who shows great strength to hold of Pedro Obiang and Angelo Ogbonna.

The Spaniard then shows composure to slide the ball to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who can pop the ball into the net from six yards out.

Another Sofiane Feghouli effort, another one where he cannot find the target.

The Algerian is found well by Cheikhou Kouyate, but the former Valencia man's shot drift over the crossbar.

Wherever he is, Jose Mourinho must have heard the ovation for Bastian Schweinsteiger when he came on just then.

He gets another the first time he touched the ball, and then a big cheer with a shot that whistled just wide.

Schweinsteiger has kept his counsel throughout the last few difficult months but privately was adamant he had not given up on his Manchester United future.

Be interesting to see what happens when Mourinho has everyone available.

What a moment for the German, one he did not think he would be getting again.
