Anthony Muindi: Rui Faria's team looking good tonight.

Purple Tentacle: Another good chance missed. The last time United played so well and missed so many was the Burnley game. Expect an equaliser.

RegularJon: What is this crazy, fast-paced football United are playing?! Fantastic start! Counter attacking in under 5 seconds at times!

Jose Mourinho's, I mean Rui Faria's Manchester United side are playing some slick football, but still only lead by one goal.

On this occasion, Henrikh Mkhitaryan tees up Michael Carrick on the edge of the box, but the midfielder is unable to get his shot away.

That's a great finish by Ryan Bertrand, Sofiane Boufal did really well on the left-hand side. Again, Martinez had no chance

    Ryan Bertrand (37 mins)

    Get rid of it lad.

    Well, well, well.

Carl Jenkinson overplays the ball deep in his own half and is outmuscled, it puts his side in trouble.

Sofiane Boufal is the man who breaks clear before cutting the ball back to Ryan Bertrand, who picks his spot and drills a low finish into the bottom corner of the net.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger turns away in disgust on the touchline.

No sign of Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho inside Old Trafford yet after being given ANOTHER touchline ban.

Must be hiding in a laundry basket somewhere.

Arsenal are giving the ball away too easily and Southampton are trying to take advantage on the break.

A couple of Sofianes in action tonight. Feghouli for West Ham and Boufal for Southampton.

Both have been in the action, making good runs with the ball, with the Saints player drawing a foul from Arsenal's Alex Iwobi.

Incidentally, I have a cousin named Sofiane, but neither of tonight's two are as good as him.

Anthony Martial has been put under pressure by manager Jose Mourinho to start producing the goods and has started this match well.

He breaks clear with pace, opening up a shooting opportunity for himself on the edge of the box, but his strike sails over the bar.

Arsene Wenger is anxious tonight, you can just tell by the body language. They haven't started that well and you can see in the body language of the manager.

Wayne Rooney meant that. He went for the far corner and forced Adrian into a good save.

Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney curls in the free-kick from the left...

...remember he is looking for his 249th United goal which would draw him level with Sir Bobby Charlton's record...

...but his effort is pushed away by a stretching Adrian. It was curling wide anyway.

Feghouli was not direct enough. He should have driven forward with more authority. It was an intelligent run by Fletcher and Feghouli should have released him. A wasted chance.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is running West Ham ragged in the early stages of this match.

He breaks the offside trap and drills a low ball into the box, which is cut out by Winston Reid.

The Hammers skipper is not happy with the effort of his team-mates there.

Meanwhile, the visitors break to the other end through Sofiane Feghouli, but the Algerian wants too much time on the ball and loses possession.

The chance to break Bobby Charlton's goalscoring record will spur Wayne Rooney on immensely. His record is unbelievable. He is England's top scorer, now he has the chance to become Manchester United's top scorer. What an incentive tonight.

It's going to be difficult for Arsenal to break Southampton down, they're solid at the back and I can't seen an aerial threat there for Arsenal.

There were only seconds on the clock when West Ham scored in the Premier League game between these teams on Sunday. This time it is the hosts who have made the fast start.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has taken a while to get going as a Manchester United player but he will feel a whole lot better with that contribution. Fantastic awareness to know Zlatan was behind him, and skill to find him with the back heel.
