    Oh my days.

Simone Zaza is yet to find the net for West Ham since joining from Juventus in the summer and you can see why.

The Italian's shot from outside the area...

    ...goes for a throw in.

    Woeful.

Southampton had a very good game-plan tonight and stuck to it and executed it very well. Arsenal were poor, but take nothing away from the performance of Southampton.

If you look at Arsenal's starting line-up tonight, I think they would have had to have played exceptionally well and Southampton badly to have a chance of winning against a good Southampton side.

Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney needs to be careful here, he is incensed after Winston Reid catches him on the face with a high boot.

It was accidental, but the challenge draws blood from Rooney's cheek and he throws a verbal volley in the direction of Mike Dean.

The captain heads off the pitch for some treatment.

The Stretford End gave him an enthusiastic reception when he sprinted to that end.

No call to arms yet. But those who warmed up against this opposition on Sunday all got on.

Not played for United since March and was training on his own six weeks ago remember.

In the heat of battle, it is not always easy to consider the consequences of your actions.

Given what was at stake, Rooney might not have reacted furiously when referee Mike Jones gave a free-kick against him following an innocuous challenge in an area of no danger to Manchester United on the pitch.

So Rooney will not break Sir Bobby Charlton's record at his beloved Goodison Park.

He still has a bit of time to do it here of course.

It isn't Wayne Rooney who takes the free-kick, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

    Excellent goalkeeping.
