Is Jose Mourinho allowed in there?

West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell is struggling with an injury, so is forced to leave the pitch.

On comes former Olympiakos man Arthur Masuaku.

Not quite sure what happened to Cresswell, but he did miss the start of the season with knee ligament injury.

Remember, ties must be decided tonight so we may go into extra-time or penalties if scores are level.

Luke: De Gea's save looked like a man fed up with having to bail this very very expensive but poor side out time and time again.

Southampton are definitely the best team in the first half, they fully deserve to be 2-0 up. I can understand the Arsenal fans' frustration, I'm frustrated watching. 

This is where the manager earns his money and gives the whole team a good telling off. Players have got to look at themselves and try and get themselves going in the second half. If they score a goal in the second half they're back in this game.

The worst thing Manchester United can do right now is feel sorry for themselves. They started well, have been the better team, but it is as though they need a second goal to build confidence. They have had chances but haven't taken them. Then look what happens...

The keeper should do better. He should not let that out of his grasp and Fletcher pounces. Fletcher deserves it, he has worked very hard. 

10 minutes to half time and West Ham have had zero shots so far.

David de Gea in the Manchester United goal might as well have had a night off.

A few boos ring around the Emirates Stadium as Southampton take a deserved lead at the interval against Arsenal.

Manchester United look very good on the counter attack. It is almost like they enjoy West Ham having a spell inside their half.

Chelsea Warrior: Arsene obviously didn't get the memo: You can't win anything with kids. 

Eddie: Shoot on sight. Southampton have done this and are 2-0 up. Not rocket science. Sanchez and Ozil absent for tippy tappy.

Azza Gold: Southampton are a good team so why play second and third team players. It makes no sense.

If the fast, attacking football might be different but there is a throwback to the Louis van Gaal era at Old Trafford tonight - the home technical area is completely empty.

Van Gaal thought it was pointless standing by the touchline because his players couldn't hear anything he said.

Jose Mourinho does not subscribe to that theory and spends virtually the entire game there.

But with the manager banned, his assistant Rui Faria is making only sporadic appearances.

Mourinho is in the stadium somewhere but if he is in the directors box, he hasn't been spotted yet.

Arsenal have really struggled. They've come up against a strong Southampton side, so they'd always expect it to be tough, but they'd expect to be better, especially at home. 

Arsene Wenger has resigned to the fact that this is a competition he wants to play players who, generally, don't play on a Saturday. 

One way traffic at Old Trafford, but the home side have been unable to double their lead.

Wayne Rooney pops in a cross from Anthony Martial at the front post, but the Frenchman cannot get his header on target.
