English football did itself proud today in the tributes to a man who epitomised so much good about our game - the late Graham Taylor.

His life, after he died at the age of 72 this past week, was remembered throughout the country and notably at his three major league clubs in Watford, Aston Villa and Wolves.

We saw some terrific football too throughout a day of EFL games, and the derby that ended the action this evening was a brilliant contest of controlled passion and rivalry.

Thanks for joining us today, there's FA Cup replay action on BBC Sport this midweek, before we return with the best of the EFL next weekend, starting with Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.

    Until then, goodbye.
