That was unbearable. He missed the ball completely. Any touch would have done. I can't watch it again because every time I see it I think he's going to score.

Ten minutes into the game and Tammy Abraham reaches this - a ball over the top is just out of range of his tired legs.

And then down the other end, there is a HUGE miss. Jeremy Oljan beats his man, picks out Nadiem Amiri steaming in at the back stick - OPEN GOAL.

The ball runs through his legs. My word.

A poor Germany clearance, a reaching England leg in midfield that can't bring it down and counter. Can anyone find that extra reserve of energy to force a winner?

This is getting leggy, the players are knackered.

Adding insult to injury, the crowd are now doing a Mexican wave.

There was a German Superman there - the keeper got nowhere near it. If Chambers had got the header on goal he would have scored.

Marc-Oliver Kempf is into the book for a deliberate handball that stopped Dominic Iorfa in full flow. The message seems to have been just give the ball to Iorfa, he's everywhere.

James Ward-Prowse delivers the free-kick - and the keeper's thrown himself at it but got nowhere! Calum Chambers can't quite direct it on target though.

A let off for Germany. Haven't typed that too often this evening.

Dominic Iorfa is straight into it, darting down the right flank and picking out John Swift in the middle. Shame about the header wide. He was crowded out.

A change for England. That's their extra one, their fourth, as well.

Wolves defender Dominic Iorfa is on and Mason Holgate off. He'll slot in at right-back. Fresh legs.

I'd still take penalties now. England are going to have to hold out. Jacob Murhpy and Mason Holgate are getting ripped to pieces - there are duels England aren't winning. But they have fantastic fight and spirit, I just hope it can take them one step further.

This could be the longest 15 minutes of our loves.

Half-time in extra-time. Aidy Boothroyd is down there, creasing his tailored waistcoat as he barks out encouragement to his players.

Jordan Pickford parries a stinging shot from outside the box and once England chase down the rebound they broke up the pitch.

It falls to Lewis Baker, it's sitting nicely, the clock ticking down to half-time... But he snatches at his shot. Wide. At least test the keeper. That is tiredness.
