Jack Wilshere was excellent in midweek but he can't even get seven minutes today as Arsene Wenger sends on Mohamed Elneny for Granit Xhaka, his final change.

Brighton have had 30% of possession in this second half and just the one shot on target all game. The second Arsenal goal totally killed this as a contest.

Everton make five changes from their Europa League game on Thursday with the big news seeing Wayne Rooney dropped to the bench.

Dominic Calvert Lewin and Nikola Vlasic both impressed in midweek and come in to the team, as does Oumar Niasse who scored twice last week against Bournemouth. Cuco Martina and Michael Keane also return with Rooney, Sandro, Tom Davies, Mason Holgate, Jonjoe Kenny the players to miss out.

Everton XI: Pickford, Martina, Keane, Williams, Baines, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Vlasic, Calvert-Lewin, Niasse, Sigurdsson.

Subs: Sandro, Rooney, Klaassen, Stekelenburg, Davies, Holgate, Lookman.

Sean Dyche names an unchanged Burnley team which is no surprise as they are four games unbeaten in the Premier League.

Three thousand Liverpool fans have made the trip and they as usual will be camped up with the gods with views across the city centre, a complete sellout.

The press box is also rammed with reporters from all over the globe; Croatia, India, China, Russia, and Malaysia to name just a few.

That second goal has really finished this one as a contest as Arsenal now cruise around the pitch. Alexis Sanchez is on the hunt for a first Premier League goal of the season and toe-pokes wide.

If Rooney doesn't play there, would you ask him to play wide? He is not the player with the stamina he once had.

For me, Rooney plays nine or 10 or he comes on as an impact player.

Brilliantly done. Alexis Sanchez weaves in from the left and snakes a low shot into the far corner, but Mat Ryan and Lewis Dunk combine to just about claw it off the line.

From the corner Sead Kolasinac has a header cleared off the line by Solly March. Arsenal could be out of sight!

Everton make changes, five in fact, from their latest Europa League draw.

That's a first Premier League goal since January for Alex Iwobi and Arsenal look dangerous now. Alexis Sanchez has another cross well defended before Aaron Ramsey overcooks a through ball after a rare error from Mat Ryan in the Brighton net.
