    Arsenal 0-0 Brighton

Izzy Brown is more of an attacking midfielder than a forward but he's up there on his own for Brighton today and he does well to shield the ball and win a free-kick. Pascal Gross' delivery is on the money and Brown then flicks a header wide.

If you're wondering why Brighton haven't got an out-and-out striker today, Tomer Hemed is starting a three-match ban after being found guilty of violent conduct during last Sunday's game against Newcastle.

The 30-year-old Israel international, who scored the winner in his side's 1-0 victory, appeared to stamp on defender DeAndre Yedlin in the 88th minute.

The incident was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.

Hemed denied the Football Association charge, which was proven after an independent regulatory commission met.

What does Jack Wilshere have to do to get into this team? Him and Walcott were scintillating against Borisov but we’ve chosen Iwobi and Xhaka who have done nothing all season.

    Arsenal programme

The front cover of today's programme at the Emirates is all about 'Arsenal for Everyone', the club's campaign to embrace diversity and equality.

I think the game we'll see though will follow a pretty familiar script in the Premier League - Brighton, without a recognised striker, will put men behind the ball to try to frustrate Arsenal and it will be up to Arsene Wenger's men to find a way through.

Funnily enough Chris Hughton was in charge of the last newly-promoted team to win here when Newcastle came out on top in 2010.
