Johhny Magrinho: With the way this game is going it’s almost an inevitability that Liverpool will score a couple - they’re all over Leicester. Question is - have Leicester got another goal in them? Since going 1-0 up they’ve just sat back & consolidated. Dangerous tactics.

Paul Walmsley: Emre Can looks like his head is already at Juventus. He looks utterly lost. When are Liverpool going to buy a proper holding player?

Surely Mark Hughes’s days as Stoke City manager are over? We’ve had some sackings that have surprised me this season but that would not be one of them.

Is it chilly in the Chelsea box, Thibaut Courtois? Stoke haven't once stepped foot inside the opposition area, as this heat map shows.

    Ryan Fraser (33 mins)

    It had been coming!

The smallest man on the pitch converts as Joshua King picks out a cracking cross from the right, Jonjoe Kenny is AWOL from his post at right-back and Ryan Fraser has all manner of space inside the area. He takes it really well though, side-footing home from about eight yards out.

Tom Chance: Chelsea showing Mourinho how it's done. No shame in losing the title to this Man City team and Guardiola, as long as you go down with a fight and win your own matches.

Thomas Maxwell: Danny Drinkwater is a fine replacement for Nemanja Matic, because he can defend and attack and will be there until Bakayoko improves.

Wale Ibraheem: It's just 24mins into the game and Stoke fans are already on their way home. Terrible performance.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 0-1 Leicester

Relentless pressure on the Leicester goal, there can't be many teams who have played as well as Liverpool have in this half and are still losing.

Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah have shots blocked inside the area before Andrew Robertson flies around the outside on the overlap and goes down with a hand on his shoulder - no foul.

    Newcastle 0-0 Brighton

Rafael Benitez won't like what he is seeing from his defence as they again fail to deal with a Brighton corner. This time, the ball is allowed to bounce around unchallenged in the box before Shane Duffy lashes over.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is on the edge of his technical area clapping his hands above his head because his side are enjoying total dominance at the moment. The only thing letting them down is their finishing as Steven Defour and Scott Arfield put decent efforts wide.

Feels like only a matter of time before the visitors strike.

    Liverpool 0-1 Leicester

    Alex Bruce
    Wigan defender on Final Score

It's been a bit of a smash and grab from Leicester so far, since they scored, it's been wave after wave of attacks from Liverpool. I can't see it being too long before they equalise. The amount of times Liverpool's full-backs have got to the byline and got crosses in - Leicester just keep clearing them away - they've defended pretty well so far.

  10. Liverpool asking questionspublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 0-1 Leicester

    BBC Radio 5 live

Former Leicester defender & Leeds manager Simon Grayson: "Liverpool are asking questions of Leicester's defence and you'd think it's only a matter of time before Liverpool score. But so far, Leicester have been up to the task in keeping them at bay."

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Bournemouth 0-0 Everton

The Cherries are seeing plenty of the ball and go close as Jordon Ibe spins away from Morgan Schneiderlin on the corner of the area, hits a low shot which is sneaking into the corner but Jordan Pickford gets down well to push it away.

    Newcastle 0-0 Brighton

Newcastle edging closer to a goal as Dwight Gayle times a run perfectly to break clear of the Brighton defence. He shoots hard and low at the near post, Mat Ryan spills but is able to gather before Joselu pounces.

Paul Walmsley: Can't believe this is still 1-0. Liverpool should have had at least two by now.

Richard Heath: I’m beginning to wonder if Liverpool will ever learn. They have come up against Vardy time after time with the same problem. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 0-1 Leicester

Liverpool are looking so dangerous, they've had to change the ball as it had popped but the new one flies OK. Joe Gomez is up from right-back and he hits an early shot from 25 yards which skims the roof of the net.

  15. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 3-0 Stokepublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Pedro (23 mins)

    And there's the third.

It's all too easy for Chelsea. Stoke cannot live with Willian, who can't quite believe his luck as defenders back off him on the edge of the area, allowing him the time to pick out Pedro and the forward slams home a neat strike into the bottom corner.

A few Stoke fans are already heading for the exit. Who can blame them?

David Ljunggren: It can be only a matter of time before Brighton score against a very fragile looking Newcastle.

Udo Van Rijssen: Wonder if the Liverpool defenders are nervous about the new signing as it looks like they are on the pitch for the first time

Watford are looking very much in control now after taking the lead. Swansea in the familiar position of trailing on the road.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

You can see why Burnley are doing as well as they are this season. Every player knows their role and the team links up superbly, seemingly always aware where a team-mate is.

They are starting to take control of this game as Johann Berg Gudmundsson goes close, charging through the Huddersfield defence before hitting a low effort into the sidenetting.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 0-1 Leicester

    How is this still 1-0?!

What a game this is. Again it's Mohamed Salah breaking into the area, the angle is tight but his pace has taken him beyond the last defender and his chip drifts across goal and just wide...

Schmeichel then makes another save to deny Roberto Firmino's toe-poke.

Isaac Kiplagat: If Sparky didn’t know what “The Night of Long Knives” meant, I hope he has now woken up to it. This will be a mauling.

Steve Harwood: Stoke should refund all the fans who travelled for the game. Alternatively, sack Hughes. Absolute failure! How much longer is he going to get? What is this team selection? Game ruined inside 10 minutes.
