  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 49mins

    Hibernian 0-2 Celtic

Hibs left-back Lewis Stevenson is booked after downing Patrick Roberts as the Celtic winger looked to break quickly and dangerously.

  5. CLOSE!published at 48mins

    Hibernian 0-2 Celtic

Half-time substitutes Martin Boyle and Steven Whittaker combine immediately to create Hibs' best chance of the game.

Whittaker's cross finds Vykintas Slivka racing unmarked into the six-yard box, but the Lithuania midfielder heads well over when anything on target would likely have reduced the deficit.

It's all going egg shaped for Hibs, with striker Anthony Stokes now limping after taking a knock.

Efe Ambrose has recovered to start the second half, but Hibs have made two changes.

Winger Martin Boyle replaces holding midfielder Marvin Bartley on the wing, while Steven Whittaker, who was not considered fit enough to start, takes the place of David Gray at right-back.

I think Celtic are two gears short of top gear, but they haven't had to play at top gear. I would not be surprised to see Hibs bringing on someone to help Anthony Stokes up front

  11. Empty seats blight semi-finalpublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 21 October 2017

    #bbcsportscot and https://www.facebook.com/bbcsportscotland

There are over 10,000 empty seats in the Hibs end and Celtic are believed to be furious.

The clubs agreed a 50-50 split of tickets, but the Edinburgh outfit failed to sell a large swathe of theirs.

Hibs keeper Ross Laidlaw won't fancy seeing any replays of that goal. He should certainly have done better. A double for Lustig, though, and you'd be hard pushed to find someone inside the national stadium who doesn't think it could be game over already

  15. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-2 Celticpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 21 October 2017

It has been the Mikael Lustig show at Hampden.

The Sweden right-back was booked on the stroke of half-time for a challenge on former Celtic team-mate Efe Ambrose.

But two sclaffed efforts from Lustig have evaded Hibs goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw to hand the holders a comfortable half-time lead.

Much work to do - and no doubt much ranting and raving in the dressing-room - for Hibs head coach Neil Lennon.

GOAL Hibernian 0-2 Celticpublished at 42mins

    Mikael Lustig

What was I saying about Mikael Lustig?

The big right-back evades the marking of David Gray to meet a Leigh Griffiths corner floated to the back post and Ross Laidlaw looks suspect again as Lustig's half-volley evades the goalkeeper's grasp at the front post.

  19. CLOSE!published at 38mins

Craig Gordon is called into action for the first time as the Celtic goalkeeper theatrically punches clear an Anthony Stokes free-kick fired on target from 22 yards.

  20. Postpublished at 35mins

    Hibernian 0-1 Celtic

Celtic have looked vulnerable on their return from European action in recent times, but after Hibs' enthusiastic opening, the goal has settled Brendan Rodgers' side into a familiar rhythm.

Hibs, on the other hand, have been knocked out of their stride and are struggling to hold on.
