    Hibernian v Celtic (12:15)

Celtic, of course, remain unbeaten in their last 59 domestic outings - three short of a club record - including their victorious run to League Cup silverware last season.

Hibs, though, have given them their toughest recent test and were 10 minutes away from ending that run before Callum McGregor scored the second goal of the game to secure a 2-2 draw at Celtic Park on 30 September.

Both sides were unbeaten in six games until their last outings - Hibs at home to Aberdeen last weekend and Celtic away to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

The Edinburgh side last beat Celtic on 29 December 2012, 1-0 at Easter Road, since when Celtic have gone six meetings without defeat.

  7. Gray and Barker start for Hibspublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 21 October 2017

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:15)

Club captain David Gray returns to Hibs' right-back spot in place of Steven Whittaker, who has been troubled by a sore hip.

Martin Boyle drops to the bench along with Whittaker, with on-loan Manchester City winger Brandon Barker handed a start.

Paul Hanlon is in central defence having been passed fit despite missing training on Friday with a virus.

  8. Bitton and McGregor in for Celticpublished at 11:47 British Summer Time 21 October 2017

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:15)

We go straight to the team news and Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has decided against making too many changes despite that potentially exhausting Champions League defeat away to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Midfielders Nir Bitton and Callum McGregor, who scored twice the last time Celtic met Hibs, are handed starts ahead of Cristian Gamboa and Olivier Ntcham.

With Gamboa, who suffered a torrid time in Munich, dropping out - and fellow defenders Jozo Simunovic, Erik Sviatchenko and Anthony Ralston still sidelined - that suggests Bitton will again be asked to deputise at the back.

  9. Dear Green Place ever greenerpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 21 October 2017

There's no respite for Brendan Rodgers' Celtic as the big occasions come thick and fast following Wednesday's 3-0 Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich in Bavaria.

No sooner have they landed back in the "Dear Green Place" than Glasgow has become ever more green as Hibernian make the trip along the M8 to face the holders in today's first Scottish League Cup semi-final at Hampden Park.

That kicks off early at 12:15 BST, after which we have three Premiership games and a full card in the divisions below.

We'll follow the action until their conclusion, so stay with us for another exciting day of Scottish football.
