  1. 'Swans showing urgency'published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

    John Hartson
Former Arsenal striker on 5 Live

Swansea have been so much better in this second half. They've shown so much more urgency and the players are running off each other and getting in behind Spurs.

The fans can see now that the players have more urgency, they're chasing everything down and hunting in packs and that gets the fans up for it.

Only Joey Barton (5) has assisted more Premier League goals for Andy Carroll than Aaron Cresswell (4).

Adam: Swansea showing some metal tonight and starting to create a few half decent chances in the last few minutes.

  4. Coincidence or not?published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Man City 2-0 Watford

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Since 27 November, when Everton made the approach for Sam Allardyce that saw him installed as Ronald Koeman's replacement as manager, Watford have got four points from eight games and look unlikely to get anything out of the ninth tonight.

The Hornets rejected Everton's request to speak to Marco Silva.

Watford are still 10th, a position they haven't finished a season higher in since 1987, but if this poor run carries on too much longer, Silva might end up under pressure himself.

  5. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Man City 2-0 Watford

Lovely football from Manchester City as they carve open the Watford defence, David Silva squeezing the ball through for Kevin de Bruyne but the Belgian is denied getting a shot off on goal by a crucial last-ditch Daryl Janmaat tackle.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

Swansea overturned a one-goal deficit with two late goals against Watford last-time out and they are staging a late rally here as Mike van der Hoorn's effort is deflected onto the post.

    Twenty minutes to go.

Sam: For people questioning Aguero, he scored one at Swansea and two at Bournemouth earlier in the month. He was unlucky against Newcastle not to score having hit the woodwork twice and a goal disallowed, does that sound like a striker struggling? I think not!

  8. goal

    James McArthur (69 mins)

Crystal Palace are enjoying their best spell of the game and make it count as Christian Benteke heads across goal for James McArthur, who volleys home the equaliser.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

Harry Kane is going to get the chance to stretch his legs. He's coming on for Fernando Llorente, who is warmly applauded by the Swansea fans, despite his controversial goal.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Southampton 1-0 Crystal Palace

Bakary Sako has just come on for Jeffrey Schlupp.

Crystal Palace have changed their shape in this second half and are now more 4-4-2 than the 4-2-3-1 they deployed early on.

Patrick van Aanholt - on at the break - is at left-back, with Wilfried Zaha on the left flank.

The introduction of Sako almost causes instant mayhem as the ball ping pongs around in the box before Christian Benteke forces a low save from Alex McCarthy.

  11. 'Swansea robbed'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

    John Hartson
Former Arsenal striker on 5 Live

Anybody watching this game that has seen that, knows it's a yellow card. It's poor and, although Spurs have dominated, Swansea can look at the officals and almost say 'we've been robbed'. They've been robbed by the goal and they've been robbed by the Sanchez yellow card.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    West Ham 1-1 West Brom

West Brom bolster their attack as Hal Robson-Kanu comes on for Jake Livermore. The Baggies had three shots on target in the first half but have, so far, been a bit lightweight in the final third in this half.

  13. CLOSE!published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Man City 2-0 Watford

Another bad miss by Sergio Aguero.

Watford have seemingly decided to not bother marking the striker and he has a free header, but puts it well wide.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

No surprises here as Mauricio Pochettino decides to take Davinson Sanchez off before he is sent off.

Victor Wanyama is on in his place.

Back under way at the Etihad Stadium. No changes for either side.

  16. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 West Brompublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Andy Carroll (59 mins)

All square as Andy Carroll rises to meet Aaron Cresswell cross and plant a trademark header into the back of the net.

  17. Sanchez decision angers Swanseapublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live at Liberty Stadium

All is calm on the weather front. The rain has finally relented and despite Tottenham's dominance (71% possession) Swansea are still in this. The home fans are starting to make some noise and the decision not to send off Davison Sanchez has incensed them, it should have been a second yellow and Tottenham should be down to ten men.

  18. Postpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    Swansea 0-1 Tottenham

    Oooh, Davinson Sanchez.

A very, very lucky escape for the Tottenham defender. Booked in the first half, he slides in very late on Martin Olsson. Should be another yellow, but he gets away with a warning.

  19. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2018

    West Ham 0-1 West Brom

Salomon Rondon, inside his own half, spots Adrian off his line and goes for the lob. It's ambitious, and off target, as Adrian calmly watches the ball bounce wide of goal.

Adam: Looking forward to Aguero and Sané finding a bit of form. City should be a half-decent team then!

Richard: Aguero's form is worrying. Do not think he could hit a barn door at the moment.

Chris: A glimmer of hope for Watford fans, I've just checked the stats and prior to tonight, Man City haven't won a game all year.

They had also gone one whole game without scoring before today, Chris.
