There's 90 seconds to go. Bristol City have got to get the ball back. If only they'd done this five minutes ago. But can they get it back and launch it into the City penalty area?

Well then! Centre-half Aden Flint goes up front and scores in stoppage time! A long ball is launched to the back post, Bobby Reid heads it across and Flint is there to turn it in.

One more and we have extra time!

Bristol City 1-2 Man City (Agg: 2-4)

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Bristol City have got to concentrate on the league now and get that form back. They've had a great run in the competition but they've got to put this behind them because they've lost too many Championship games of late

It looks like it'll be six losses in seven games for Bristol City. That sounds like an awful run of form, but two of those games have of course been against Manchester City, and most of the others came with several players out injured.

But psychologically, having not won since Boxing Day, the Robins will now really badly need a win against QPR in the league on Saturday.

jayonlines: For all of Manchester City's dominance, Bristol City are doing quite well here. Bravo hasn't been able to get out of his own half

Thomashollern: ''He's just done a John Stones'' and 'He's having a John Stones'' could be phrases we hear used for players who are having a nightmare and making schoolboy errors.

DaJo177: Another goal against Man City tonight but Bristol City have yet to score in any Championship game since the New Year.

They've spent so much of the game chasing, without the ball, three or four of the Bristol City players look exhausted out there.

A bit of afters from Kyle Walker as he piles into the back of Famara Diedhiou but again the referee takes no action.

I think both teams are happy to shake hands on this scoreline now. The intensity and tempo has drained away.

Sergio Aguero comes off after yet another goal, Ilkay Gundogan is on.

Howepundit: Another John Stones mistake leads to a goal. That's four goals City have conceded since his return that he has been responsible for. It's not a coincidence anymore

NexusGrunt: It would be a fantastic story if Bristol City could get just another and start a few nerves jangling. Can't see it happening though.

Kyle Walker was down for a long time and he's not happy at all when he does get up. No card was shown to Famara Diedhiou.

Famara Diedhiou hasn't done much since he came on at half time but he does now leave Kyle Walker in a heap after they go up for a header.

A clash of heads? It's actually the striker's forearm into Walker's head, after he'd won the header.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 73 mins

Bristol City have now scored 13 goals against Premier League teams this season - only one fewer than Swansea.

    That's quite incredible.

But the fact that I've gone with that stat now - rather than waiting for another goal in order to say 'they've scored as many times against Premier League opposition as Swansea' - is probably an admittance that I still can't see them doing this tonight. Sorry.
