He’s done exactly the right thing. He went low where the goalkeeper was standing, Buffon moved to his left and he couldn’t get back, couldn’t get down in time.

They’ve deserved it. Apart from the opening 10 minutes where they were all over the place, Tottenham have been the better team.

Giorgio Chiellini plays a ball over the top, but Gonzalo Higuain is offside.

It's hard to criticise him too much since he scored Juventus' two goals - but had he scored that second penalty, who knows where we'd all be now?

Both coaches would have had a word at half-time. A lot of players were doing what they wanted in the first half, now the tempo and the organisation has kicked in, so not quite as crazy a second half.

Juventus make the first change of the game as 20-year-old Uruguay midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur replaces Sami Khedira.

Christian Eriksen, who turns 26 tomorrow, is having a good game for Spurs. His free-kick on this occasion, after Serge Aurier was fouled by Alex Sandro, is cleared by Gonzalo Higuain though.

Jeff: Need to sub Aurier off, his timing is awful tonight. Red card waiting to happen.

Eric Dier is really key for Tottenham now. They are committing a lot of bodies forward, and he needs to be really disciplined in sitting back and in cutting off Juventus counter attacks.
