Chiemezie: Please! Please! Please! Don't ever write off Tottenham. Thank you.

Stew: To all the doubters, this is a very creditable European knockout performance by Spurs.

    David: Happy birthday Christian Eriksen

    Juventus 2-2 Spurs

Juve have a sniff at goal, after Eric Dier gave the ball away in midfield. Federico Bernardeschi shoots from 16 yards, it's deflected and Hugo Lloris - who is already going to ground - is lucky that the ball lands into his hands.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-2 Spurs

Juventus make their second sub, Mario Mandzukic limps off and Italy international Stefano Sturaro comes on.

Just under 15 minutes to go, can Spurs find a winner?

  7. 'Tottenham deserve it'published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-2 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

He’s done exactly the right thing. He went low where the goalkeeper was standing, Buffon moved to his left and he couldn’t get back, couldn’t get down in time.

They’ve deserved it. Apart from the opening 10 minutes where they were all over the place, Tottenham have been the better team.

  8. Postpublished at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-2 Spurs

Giorgio Chiellini plays a ball over the top, but Gonzalo Higuain is offside.

It's hard to criticise him too much since he scored Juventus' two goals - but had he scored that second penalty, who knows where we'd all be now?

    Christian Eriksen (71 mins)

Comeback o'clock. A clever Christian Eriksen free-kick has Spurs level - with two away goals. The Dane hits it low, around the wall and into the bottom corner.

Gianluigi Buffon gets a touch, maybe he should have done better,

Alex: Champs league really exposes a team's weak spots. Both Tottenham fullbacks are not up to scratch.

David: Anyone know Pochettino's mobile number? I need to scream at him to bring Trippier on!

Anon: Dele Alli is an absolute passenger. Offers nothing but poor tackles, and bad passes.

    Juventus 2-1 Spurs

Harry Kane hits one from 20 yards that catches everyone a bit off guard except Gianluigi Buffon, who is able to save at his near post.

Now Spurs have a free-kick in a great position as Dele Alli is fouled by Giorgio Chiellini.

  13. Postpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-1 Spurs

Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic clips a free-kick in but it's past everyone and bounces into the hands of Hugo Lloris.

  14. 'The organisation has kicked in'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-1 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Both coaches would have had a word at half-time. A lot of players were doing what they wanted in the first half, now the tempo and the organisation has kicked in, so not quite as crazy a second half.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-1 Spurs

Juventus make the first change of the game as 20-year-old Uruguay midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur replaces Sami Khedira.

  16. Postpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

Christian Eriksen, who turns 26 tomorrow, is having a good game for Spurs. His free-kick on this occasion, after Serge Aurier was fouled by Alex Sandro, is cleared by Gonzalo Higuain though.

Jeff: Need to sub Aurier off, his timing is awful tonight. Red card waiting to happen.

Dan: I rate Ben Davies but he is having a shocker.

Eyobele Spurs should bring Lucas or Son for useless Lamela and win 3-2!

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Basel 0-4 Man City

Leroy Sane replaces Raheem Sterling, his first appearance since January following injury.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-1 Spurs

Gonzalo Higuain is furious as he goes down after a Jan Vertonghen challenge. He's expecting a free-kick and really kicks off when he doesn't get it.

Play goes on, then the referee comes back to book the striker. Not sure if for diving or for dissent. Either way, dumbo move by Higuain.

  20. 'Dier is key'published at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2018

    Juventus 2-1 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Eric Dier is really key for Tottenham now. They are committing a lot of bodies forward, and he needs to be really disciplined in sitting back and in cutting off Juventus counter attacks.
