I’d like to see Lucas Moura come on the right, inject a bit of pace and see what he can do. Son too, we all know what he can do.

Lamela will probably have to go, having not played for a while, but I’m sure we’ll see one of those two take his place

    Ilkay Gundogan (53 mins)

Tasty. Ilkay Gundogan just curls one in the top corner from 20 yards out. Now he's chasing a hat-trick.

Pep Guardiola can probably start to make some subs at this stage.

Isaac: David Moyes can win a triple with Man City. They are good, with or without Pep

Amrul: I am baffled how Basel hold such a good record against English sides. Every time they played English sides I expected scores such as today. Finally City punishing Basel.

John: Tearing Basel apart so favourites for CL? Am i missing something cause i,m pretty sure last time i checked that Basel ain't in PSG class or Barcelona class or a Real Madrid class but now Man City are favourites?????

Dafydd: Juve are here for the taking... They are playing like an away side! Strange tactics for me but they could be up by two! Funny game!

Adam: Would Spurs take 2-1 now? I think so, they’re against arguably the most wise team in Europe. Going back to Wembley with a better blueprint of what Juventus are about they’re more likely to progress.

Nick: Spurs completely dominated that first half. I'd be scratching my head if they went in 3-1 down. A little justice? Great game.

    Juventus 2-1 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Lloris on the line with his antics puts Higuain off, he stands up tall, Higuain decides to go for power down the middle and it cannons off the crossbar.

It’s a clear penalty, but there's a chance now for Tottenham now. They were excellent in the last half hour, and could maybe even win this game in the second half.
