  1. Three at the back for Juvepublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Juventus (agg 2-2)

No surprises with the Tottenham set-up. It's interesting how Juventus have set up. They've started with three at the back but I think they'll go to four at times.

Tottenham are going for it! Harry's called it.

Son Heung-min, picked ahead of Erik Lamela, tries to pick out Harry Kane from the left... Juve boot clear.

But Son goes again... Spurs are clearly trying to exploit Juve down the left. This time Son goes for goal, a fierce shot parried out by Gianluigi Buffon.

    That's got Wembley going.

  3. 'Tottenham can edge it'published at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Juventus (agg 2-2)

    Harry Redknapp
Ex-Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live

Tottenham will go for it, they won't be sitting back for a 0-0 draw. That's not their game. They'll look to win.

They've got to be positive. They've got a great attacking team so they can score against Juventus, and they'll feel confident they can do so.

A trophy will come with this team, there's no doubt about that. I still think they miss the White Hart Lane atmosphere on European nights, but it will still be a great atmosphere at Wembley.

It will be a tight game, make no mistake about that. They're playing against a team who know how to win, but I think Tottenham can just about edge it.

Tottenham have got quality and experience, I don't think there's any shortage of confidence or belief in their team.

There's a real chance for English teams in the Champions League this year, any one of them could win it.

Early shout for a penalty? Not for me. Spurs halfheartedly appeal as a long ball into the Juve box strikes Medhi Benatia. A hand? Don't think so.

Games on! The tie at Wembley starts a few seconds ahead of the one in Manchester.

    Spurs straight on the attack...

It's been a difficult few days for Italian football. Davide Astori was so beloved, a real gentleman. So many played with him.

Gigi Buffon has said they will play in his memory. It will be interesting to see how Juventus can pull themselves together for this game as so many of them were affected.

Everyone lives with a little fear that it could be them. Life is so precious.

Before both games tonight there will be a minute's silence in memory of Italy and Fiorentina defender Davide Astori, who died aged 31 at the weekend.

It will be particularly poignant at Wembley where Juventus are the first Italian top-flight side to play since his death.

Several Juve players, including captain Gigi Buffon, played alongside Astori for the Italian national side, while most of them played regularly against him in Serie A.

This is a defining night for Spurs. They've won big games, they've beaten big teams, but this is about knockout and about progress, moving up the gears.

If they don't win, there will be all those questions as to whether Spurs are good enough.

The mirrors in the Manchester City tunnel make it look like there are hundreds of people down there. Thankfully for Basel they only have to face 11 home players. Although they probably wish it was fewer...

The lads are walking out at both Wembley and the Etihad...

  13. 'Need to show our quality'published at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 7 March 2018

    Tottenham v Juventus (19:45 GMT) (agg 2-2)

Mauricio Pochettino speaking to BT Sport: "We have got good momentum and [have been in] good form but it is a completely different game tonight. We need to show our quality.

"I think in the end it was fantastic - the result - to compete at this level you cannot start the game how we did in Turin.

"I hope we start strong from the beginning and push forward from there. In the last two games Son Heung-min showed great quality and good performances.

"It is a good problem for the manager to have to choose between his players [Son and Erik Lamela].

Zred: Juventus are capable of winning at Wembley, my prediction is Spurs 0 Juventus 1. It will be a cracking match though.

Andy Capontes: Would love a Liverpool/Spurs semi final or final but feel Juve experience will come through. 2-1 hope I’m wrong.

David Howell: Lots of ways this game could go and not surprise me, which is exciting. One scenario I can definitely see: 1-1, with Juve scoring first then parking the bus and eventually getting it blown away by the force of a Harry Kane.

"'Allegri is a jerk,' they said. 'He plays at the casino, he bets on horses, he leaves a bride at the altar, he's just crazy in the head.'"

The words of Juventus manager Max Allegri, who knows exactly what Italian football fans used to think about him.

But while his personal life used to attract headlines for the wrong reasons, nowadays it is only his professional life which attracts the media - for positive reasons.

Italian football expert Mina Rzouki, who hosts the 5 live Euro Leagues Football Show, tells us how Allegri has revived the Old Lady.

Man City v Basel (19:45 GMT) (agg 4-0)

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to BT Sport: "I thought that's the best team to play today. We start again from zero. The best way to qualify is to try to win the game."

On whether Phil Foden could break into the Premier League side:

"We'll see. Everyone has to be ready. He's been with us all season. Of course he has his chance."

On whether, with the Premier League almost won, they can start prioritising the Champions League:

"We focus on the next game - Premier League games, Champions League games. If you start to discriminate or focus on other games, you make a big mistake."
