Luke Pedley: The spectacular jobs done by Hughton, Wagner and particularly Benítez cannot be overstated. Incredible in such a competitive PL climate

Matt McNicholas: What Arsenal need is to sign an impact substitute. Somebody reliable to haul off the bench in a moment of crisis or when the game stagnates. I'm thinking Olivier Giroud. Oh wait..

    Newcastle 2-1 Arsenal

    Michael O'Neill
Northern Ireland manager on BBC Radio 5 live

A really poor goal for Arsenal to lose. They're shrugging their shoulders in defence.

It just seemed so easy for Ritchie to get free and he gets it over Petr Cech.

Perez with a nice little touch and Monreal was not where he should have been.

The goal has energised Newcastle and this will be a massive three points.

It's been good pressure from both sets of players.
