Let's not forget the crucial Romelu Lukaku miss from Danny Rose's poor backpass when it was goalless, and the fantastic save from Hugo Lloris to deny the Belgium striker a minute after Harry Kane's goal and a minute before Lucas Moura made it 2-0.

The scoreline was 3-0, but United, at times, played well going forward. Defensively though, well, that's a completely different story.

He probably won't be hugging many of his other defenders. The Portuguese then applauds his home fans that have stayed until the end. Not everyone has done. Many have not.

Where do Man United go from here? If they are hoping to win a title, they are not going to do it with Jose Mourinho in the dugout.

Are Manchester United the new Arsenal? You can’t argue with his record but we are living in the present, and Man United are not progressing. It is just long ball after long ball.

Another shot on target for the hosts, this time Alexis Sanchez's direct free-kick, which is over the wall and under the bar but well taken again by Hugo Lloris.

A bit later than planned, but Harry Winks does get to come on. It is Harry Kane, who started the goals off with a lovely header from Kieran Trippier's corner, who comes off.

United are being embarrassed by Spurs on their own patch. It is brilliant by Lucas Moura who drives at Chris Smalling too easily, and he whips the ball across David De Gea into the far corner. Credit to Spurs, they have been brilliant in the second half.

Manchester United is a club that is imploding. It happened in pre-season and everything has been negative. There is in-fighting and the manager isn't getting the best out of his players.

In the other dug out, Spurs haven't brought anyone in, but there were no complaints and they are united.

United still have chances, Jesse Lingard spins and shoots low from outside the penalty area, but safely gathered by Hugo Lloris.

Fred with a header, and he heads it wide from 15 yards out. He would have done well to beat Lloris from there.

One more goal for Tottenham and they will overtake Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
