Lindelof again is all over the place from the Tottenham corner. His job, his only job, is to mark Harry Kane. Kane easily gets away from Lindelof and has a free header at the back post. But, amazingly, the England centre-forward can only nod it past the post.

That should have been game, set and match for Tottenham.

Just like Danny Rose in the first half, Victor Lindelof has got away with a Sunday League backpass.

He lets in Dele Alli, David de Gea does well to force him a bit wide and then the Spanish keeper gets a hand to Alli's shot, a lucky let off and that was nearly 3-0 to Tottenham.

United have got to risk it now but they will leave themselves vulnerable at the back as they break out. They need to make something happen.

Fred's free-kick is whipped to the back post, it finds the head of one of the substitutes, Victor Lindelof, but he can only head it into the side netting.

Those on the opposite side of the ground think it has gone in, it has not.

Paul Pogba goes to ground, with a foul from Danny Rose. It is a free-kick just outside the penalty area, on the right-hand side.

We've also had a booking for Antonio Valencia for a foul on Lucas Moura in among all the carnage as well.

The visiting supporters target their attention to the home dugout.

No messing about from Jose Mourinho. That second goal was the signal for Alexis Sanchez to come on, with the Ander Herrera, three-at-the-back, experiment being ditched at the 55-minute mark.
