The home fans whistle loudly, adding to this intense atmosphere. Luciano Spalletti, the Inter boss, is prowling around the technical area and waving his arms around frantically.

The set-piece comes to nothing.

When Tottenham get the ball deep and are under pressure there is not one player who is willing to spin in behind. They keep coming short to play it to feet, and that suits Inter. Spurs are inviting pressure onto themselves.

Lionel Messi's first shot in the 2018 Champions League is one to forget. He shoots well over from around 10 yards. Philippe Coutinho has made a lively start at the Nou Camp. He headed over a few minutes earlier.

Steven Bergwijn almost puts PSV in front in the Nou Camp! Marc-Andre ter Stegen was definitely worried as he threw himself to his left but the ball drifts narrowly wide.

But there's Spurs' first shot. Christian Eriksen stings the palms of Samir Handanovic with a free-kick from distance. It's a decent hit but a comfortable save.

Erik Lamela is floating behind Harry Kane at the moment and Christian Eriksen has been asked to do a job down the right hand side.

Spurs are looking a little edgy. Davinson Sanchez has to use the overhead kick to clear from inside his own six-yard box. The home crowd is encouraged by this opening period.

Barca aren't having things their own way. PSV are here to play. They have the first meaningful shot of the night but it goes over.

Inter are just starting to turn the tempo up. They are seeing a bit more ball now after Tottenham dominated possession in the opening few minutes.

Corner cleared. Inter are on top now at the San Siro. They're pressing high.

Inter are definitely looking for balls in behind the Spurs defence. Ivan Perisic gets in but Spurs sprint back to block the cross.

The English side are going to have to defend another corner now, however.

Spurs have played one or two nervy passes in the early stages but have had the majority of the ball. Davinson Sanchez has to turn and run after a pass that's heading back towards his own goal.

There are a few empty seats near the front at the Nou Camp. Maybe the early kick-off caught them out. These four teams are all in Group B, by the way.

It is good that all of the Tottenham players have had a touch of the ball, and if they can get ahead early, this crowd might just turn on Inter. We know they aren't happy with them at the moment.

There's another mighty roar when Inter winger Ivan Perisic picks up the ball. He played for Croatia in the World Cup of course. He'll look to test out Serge Aurier tonight who is playing in place of Kieran Trippier.
