Decent chance. Ivan Perisic is not known for his heading ability and doesn't get enough power on a header to beat Michel Vorm.

Joe: Spurs very, very lucky. Their was a foul in that build up, let alone that strange deflection.

Josh: It doesn't matter how they go in, what a crucial goal for Spurs. Eriksen deserved that.

Javel: Stupid booking for Vertongen. It was a retaliatory little shirt-pull & he didn't even gain any advantage from it.

    Inter Milan 0-1 Tottenham

No luck for Spurs with the corner. The San Siro is suddenly very quiet.

  4. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Inter Milan 0-1 Tottenham

Christian Eriksen deserves it to be fair. He has comfortably been Spurs' best player. Erik Lamela almost profits from another deflected shot but this one goes out for a corner.

    Inter Milan 0-1 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Christian Eriksen has had a bit of good fortune. His first shot was a wonderful effort but it was a great save. Then there is a scramble and the second shot is deflected but the goalkeeper cannot get off the ground. It's been a good second half and Tottenham have deserved it.

    Christian Eriksen

The scruffiest goal you'll see but Spurs won't care. Christian Eriksen has one shot and it's saved. The ball comes back out and the Dane gets a second go. He blasts the follow-up into Miranda and the ball loops up and over Samir Handanovic and in.

That could be a big goal in this group.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle

Jan Vertonghen has just taken one for the team with that booking, but he'll have to be careful now.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 53 mins

    Inter Milan 0-0 Tottenham

Both Tottenham centre-backs have now been booked. Jan Vertonghen is the latest to get a telling off. It gives Inter a good chance to whip one in but Matteo Politano and Marcelo Brozovic make a right old mess of the set piece.

  9. Postpublished at 19:03 British Summer Time 18 September 2018

    Barcelona 1-0 PSV

Lionel Messi has a sight of a second at the Nou Camp but his shot doesn't have the power to beat Jeroen Zoet.

It's been all Barca in the second half.

  10. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Inter Milan 0-0 Tottenham

Good defending, Serge Aurier. It's another long ball from Inter - this must be a tactic they've worked on - and Ivan Perisic is chasing after the ball into the penalty area. Aurier does a good job of getting his body between the ball and the attacker and wins a free-kick.

The home fans aren't impressed by that decision.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Tottenham

    Chris Waddle

Great start to the second half by both teams. Either side are playing with a quicker tempo and they must have had words at the break.

  12. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Inter Milan 0-0 Tottenham

Oooof. Matteo Politano cuts in and hits one from the edge of the area for Inter which looked close from my angle but in truth was a few yards wide.

The home fans sound like they just want something to really ignite them in this game.

  13. Postpublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 18 September 2018

The second half has just begun at the Nou Camp too.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 18 September 2018

    Inter Milan 0-0 Tottenham

There were only two shots on target in the first half at the San Siro. Here's hoping for better in the second.

    We're back under way.

    No changes.

A.R.P: Sturridge starting for us is more of a hindrance than anything else (more suited as an impact sub). Man can’t press his own shirts let alone press from the front. No Keita too - we’ve lost most of our dynamism from the midfield. PSG winning this.

  18. Anfield will hear the PSG fans coming...published at 18:49 British Summer Time 18 September 2018

    Liverpool v Paris St-Germain (20:00 BST)

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Anfield

I bumped into a few hundred Paris St-Germain fans in Liverpool city centre earlier. They were being escorted to the ground by police, and I think it is safe to say that, when they get here, everyone at Anfield will know they have arrived.
