I think this is the toughest group in the competition. With the form Spurs are in at the minute, this is going to be difficult for them. They really need to up their tempo and look after the ball better than they did against Liverpool on Saturday. They have to sharpen up.

This is an intimidating atmosphere at the San Siro. There don't look to be many empty seats and there's a huge roar as the Inter players break from their huddle and run into position.

It's still light though, both in Milan and Barcelona. That's not right for a Champions League game.

"THE CHAAAAAAMPPIIIIOOOONNNNNSSSS."

The players are in the tunnel at the San Siro with Harry Kane at the front of the Spurs line.

There's quite a noise building.

This will be a test tonight for Tottenham in the San Siro but Inter Milan have not made the best of starts to the Serie A season.

They are 14th in the table and have only four points from four games.

They lost on Saturday against Parma and were beaten by Sassuolo on the opening day.

Speaking to BT Sport, Mauricio Pochettino said: "Gareth Bale is not with us anymore, and that memory (of the last game against Inter) is for our fans more than it is for us. Of course it is an amazing place to play and it is exciting to be in the Champions League. We want to start with a positive result.

"In our organisation, we try to use different formations through the game, sometimes we will play with a diamond and sometimes we will play with two strikers. We have made five changes because we know we have to rotate the squad and rest some players."

Mauricio Pochettino is all smiles in his pre-match interview. Here's what he had to say...

By the time we get around to May, it'll be four years since Barcelona won the Champions League.

They have been knocked out in the quarter-finals in the last three seasons and tonight is their first European game since that shock defeat to Roma in last season's quarters.

Tonight Messi, Suarez, Coutinho and co face a PSV Eindhoven side who are top of the Dutch league with five wins from five.

The Champions League is so high profile. We are expecting 70,000 fans here tonight and the queues have been right around the stadium since we got here.

This is what players want, and when you get into stadiums like this and watch the players warm up with the atmosphere as it is, you can understand why.

What a night that was. The game Gareth Bale announced himself on the world stage.

Speaking after Saturday's 2-1 win at Tottenham, Liverpool forward Sadio Mane said: "It is going to be a very difficult game on Tuesday.

"We will have two days rest after playing today (Saturday) and PSG are one of the best teams in the world, so we are expecting a good game at Anfield. We are going to try and win."

Liverpool have a squad that can challenge on both fronts - the Premier League and the Champions League. I am really interested to see this new Liverpool defence and goalkeeper coming up against the calibre of player that PSG have.

Liverpool have improved enormously. We know offensively that they are capable and it will come down to how they defend.

I think Liverpool will fancy themselves in this games.
