I don't think Inter are going to have any effect in this Champions League. They are honest and they work hard but they do not have enough quality in the side to trouble anybody.

In Milan, Inter seem to be running out of steam.

Harry Winks has come on to play on the right wing here and it's almost a 4-4-2 for Spurs. The 'I can't see Inter scoring' feeling grows a little further as Antonio Candreva runs the ball out for a goal kick as his control lets him down in a good crossing position.

Alex: I don't see Inter scoring here.

Denham: Think Eriksen has been the sharpest player on the pitch, movement and passing-wise... now proving to be the difference between the two teams.

That would have been some goal! Those passes end with Erik Lamela in again but like earlier the Argentine can't find the finish.

Whistles from the home crowd again as Tottenham knock it around and play keep-ball. The Spurs fans are cheering every pass from high up in the stands.

This has been a frustrating second half for Barca. They have come close a couple of times and now Luis Suarez dinks one onto the bar from the edge of the box.

Both games are still all to play for in an important opening week in this group.

Tottenham could have wrapped it up! Lucas Moura dances his way down the left and feeds Erik Lamela in the six-yard box. I think Lamela might think he's offside and doesn't manage to get a shot away. He waves his arms in frustration. Harry Kane is quite rightly asking why Lamela didn't play him in.

Michel Vorm is wiped out by a sliding tackle from Mauro Icardi who somehow doesn't get booked. Frustration from the striker at his lack of action?

While this game at the Nou Camp is still 1-0 there'll be nervy fans in the stadium. Gerard Pique has to slide in to block a shot from Hirving Lozano.

What a wonderful pass to Erik Lamela from Serge Aurier. He hit the target but he will be disappointed he hasn't scored.

Son Heung-Son is replaced by Lucas Moura.

Moments earlier Spurs had a good chance through Erik Lamela but his shot was straight at Handanovic.

Ivan Perisic is replaced too for Inter. Spurs will be happy to see the back of him. Antonio Candreva comes on.

Daniel Sturridge has been receiving glowing reports about his form and fitness this season - so what a chance for him to demonstrate his rejuvenation against the European superpower of Paris St. Germain here at Anfield in this Champions League Group C. opener.

Roberto Firmino's eye injury, sustained in the win against Spurs at Wembley, has healed sufficiently for him to be on the bench but this is a golden opportunity for Sturridge to remind a lot of people about his natural striking talent.

Not this time. Messi curls his free-kick over the bar from a similar range from which he scored in the first half.

"Fraud," shouts someone in the office. I think he's joking.

We're 60 minutes in and Mauro Icardi has only had 10 touches. Inter are still persisting with the long balls but it's not really working. Vertonghen and Sanchez should beat Icardi in the air all day long.

Almost a trademark Philippe Coutinho goal! He jinks back onto his right foot on the left-edge of the area and curls one towards the top corner - something we have seen a fair few times before - but Jeroen Zoet gets up excellently to tip it over. Barca just need a second to really kill PSV off.

Two changes for Liverpool from the side that won against Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday.

Roberto Firmino starts on the bench after suffering an eye injury while Naby Keita also steps down. Daniel Sturridge makes his first start of the season, while Jordan Henderson returns.

Eight of tonight's starting line-up started the final against Real Madrid four months ago.

World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe returns along with Brazilian duo Neymar and Marquinhos.
